I have a house and I rent out to friends and occationaly they forget their keys or get locked out of the house. It would be nice to be able to let them back into the house instead of having to drive back from work or where i may be to let them in the house. Also it would increase the security on my house and I can verify that the doors are locked when i'm gone.

I've had a Blackberry for years, and recently got my girlfriend one. We just bought a house and she's terrified that someone's going to break in. I've changed all of the locks but that doesn't help her fears. I think the Link system would be great for both of us.

I wish I could say that I had a altruistic reason for wanting this. Yes there are many different practical reasons that this would be awesome for my home. Making sure my wife and kids are safe, etc. However, my real reason has a lot less protection and a lot more practical joking. How great would it be to be able to turn the lights on and off from my phone. my little girls would think it was magic. Don't even get me started on all that could be done with locking and unlocking the door. I will use this for all the right reason, I promise! But there are a lot of fun things that could be done as well!

I have a 16 year old and 13 year old. I have thought this would be a neat addition for when our kids come home we get the texts. If we leave the house we can always check to make sure its locked and when feel safe. My wife is always up checking the back door before bed and this would ease her mind. We just could not convince ourselves the price of the starter kit was worth it.
