Following up on our Win a Free Custom Painted BlackBerry Tour Contest, held in honor of passing the 1.5 million registered members to date milestone, Patrick from TetherBerry contacted us with a friendly email and a super nice offer:

I've been reading how CrackBerry.com has recently passed 1.5 million users. Truly amazing! Since the community has been the foundation of our product, we'd like to offer 1,000 free copies of TetherBerry to fellow CrackBerry users. Our product currently retails at $50, so the value is $50,000!

ONE THOUSAND FREE COPIES... Suhhhhweeet! I know a lot of you out there are already TetherBerry owners, but hopefully 1,000 of you are not. Does Tetherberry work on the Mac as well? I wasn't able to find information on the CB app page if it was just for Windows or not. (I don't use one, but most of my friends do).

I really need this badly, im going to be going on vacations alot now and im going to be getting a netbook soon that doesnt have a mobile broadband chip built in. I just shut off my mobile broadband plan minutes before going to crackberry.com to see this on the front page, because the 5GB cap I had sucked. I used the trial on TeatherBerry and loved how it didnt use my mobile broadband usage, and it was really fast considering how i live out in the boonies. If I win this it would make my traveling and life soooo much easier.
