Following up on our Win a Free Custom Painted BlackBerry Tour Contest, held in honor of passing the 1.5 million registered members to date milestone, Patrick from TetherBerry contacted us with a friendly email and a super nice offer:

I've been reading how CrackBerry.com has recently passed 1.5 million users. Truly amazing! Since the community has been the foundation of our product, we'd like to offer 1,000 free copies of TetherBerry to fellow CrackBerry users. Our product currently retails at $50, so the value is $50,000!

ONE THOUSAND FREE COPIES... Suhhhhweeet! I know a lot of you out there are already TetherBerry owners, but hopefully 1,000 of you are not. I never enter a contest but I have tried the trial version of TetherBerry and found it to be usfull on my Storm. However I hate this phone and waiting for Storm 2 to be released and believe this application would be a great addition to it. Heck... giving this a shot and seeing how lucky I can be. My wife and I have a little weekend home in the Texas hill country outside of Austin, TX where any internet option is difficult at best. Pretty much the only choice we have is DISH/DirecTV, so we are looking for something that will solve this problem. Since we don't live there full time we don't want the monthly expense of satellite. It looks like this is just the app that could solve this problem for us. Thanks!

This product is amazing! I tried the trial version, and it was a lifesaver. I was at my customer's site, and they prohibit me from connecting to their internet for security reasons. Well, I whipped out my blackberry and a trial of tetherberry (as I suspected that I would not have access, so I wanted to try out tetherberry). they were impressed, as well as me. It was faster than I expected, and my work proceeded easily and cleanly. I was even able to VPN into my corporate network. I was also quite impressed with the interface on the PC which allowed me to monitor my usage!

All in all, if I don't win, I will definitely purchase a copy for myself!

I am not yet an owner of Tetherberry but I have been contemplating purchasing it! I have a friend who told me how useful it was when he made a trip to Las Vegas and the hotel he stayed in charged a fortune for the Wi-Fi service. I was then convinced I needed to purchase this program, but to win one would be fabulous!!
