A few weeks back on the blogs here we dropped word of the official availability of BerryBlab v1, an app that makes browsing vBulletin web forums friendly on your BlackBerry (which includes the CrackBerry forums of course!). The app has gained a pretty decent following from CrackBerry readers and has managed to maintain a 5-star rating in the CrackBerry App Store and garner some solid reviews:

 - "Awesome for those that want the ease of browsing forums in the form of a application. love checking crackberry from bed!"

- "Awesome app :) lightweight, quick, works as described. I run my own forums too and even the plugin is painless to install. The developer is also actively improving the program too. It's worth the 3 bucks =)"

BerryBlab Contest Details: For more details on BerryBlab, be sure to watch Adam's video walkthrough above and visit the product page for more info and to buy. Or if you want to get in on your chance to win a free copy, just leave a single comment to this blog post. We have 50 copies to give away. Contest ends this Sunday at midnight PST. Good luck!

I usually check the forums at my desktop so this is an app that I know I could use. So pick me pls.

Just bought this app a few hours ago. At first I was excited at the idea of being able to read vbulletin threads on my blackberry but then I found out that some kind of plugin had to be installed on the forums... Unfortunately, most of the vbulletin forums I wanted to add don't have the plugin installed. So for now, this app is pretty much useless for me. Before you buy this app, I suggest you make sure your favorite forums have the plugin installed.

BerryBlab is cool. Have the basic version and would love to win the full version. So please crackberry, pick me!!!

this is awesome. All the forums I browse on my Tour are vB and if I won this it would make load times years faster. Choose me.

This is a neat way to organize all my forums that I visit into one nice easy to read place to find them. I would like a chance to add this app to my list of must haves. I usually don't win but it would still be nice!!!

I hope I can win one of the free 50 copies.......thanks for the info on this app, looks like a cool app. My work has an internal discussion forum, and a lot of Blackberry users at my work....this would be great to access my work discussion forum on the go.

i've never used it before but looks pretty nice, i'll give it a shot if i get a free copy :) at least until the new web-kit browser comes out, damn that browser looks hot :)

Seems cool... Not sure how many forums I actually use that will be accessed by this app... I wish someone would create a better search by category for forums.

It's an app I've been wanting to pick up for a while.
With the sheer number of vBulletin forums I visit on a daily basis, this would be invaluable!

The one comment to rule them all,
One comment to find them,
One comment to bring them all
and in the berryblab bind them

:)

I beta testing this app and it is fantastic. I used it for my own vBulletin forum, CB and some others as well. The paid app looks killer.

I never really thought I would get into online forums, but since I've had my BB I've become addicted to forums...this app would make my life so much easier!

i love crackberry and this app would just make me love it even more because of the ease it would create when browsing the forums!!

I found it can be downloaded from berryblab.com
I got one for my bold, it doesn't support every Forum I would like to add.
And secondly, It is an absolutely battery killer!!
anyway, I will keep it on my bold, but I don't think I will use it much

I've always wanted to use CB on my mobile but couldn't, especially in the Philippines, because everything is such a mighty step.

This app will help me do so. Please be kind. Please give.

I am already a Blabber! If you don't get the free copy in the contest, I suggest that you all pick this thing up. It's well worth the 3$. Very fast and easy to use and Harry is great should there be any issues you notice or feedback you want to provide.

Only one "con" for me... Images (in the post itself not attached) seem to load up weird on occasion or not at all. It happens infrequently, but when I used the old free trial and then now with the paid version, sometimes I have to actually click on the [x] that shows up to view the image itself. I don't know if its a resizing issue or what...

One of the easiest ways to send PM via the phone as well! :)

Blab, thank you for the great work, but how did you get to use "BERRY" in your appname when so many others are being told to change the name to eliminate it?

Almost everything I do on the internet is on forums and viewing them on my BB can be a real pain. I need this.
