Of all the applications I have used while owning a BlackBerry, I have to say that BerryBuzz is by far my favorite. The first release was awesome in that it easily let you specifiy different LED colors for emails, SMS and phone calls. In the newly updated BerryBuzz 2.0, Bellshare has stepped up their game. There are a ton of additional options in this update. You can set LED alerts for emails, SMS, phone calls, calendar events and more. You can tweak the LED flash settings like interval and slow flash time. There is even a "disco" light which flashes different colors and is hard to miss (check out this video for a demo). The biggest addition has to be the ability to set an LED alert for BlackBerry Messenger - which in the past "couldn't be done". The upgrade is $2.99 for previous owners of BerryBuzz 1.0, but is free for users who have purchased BerryBuzz 1.0 after June 25th, 2009.

Dear Mister BerryBuzz 2.0,

You are the best thing that can happen to a fresh BB user. I bought the berrybuzz app in the first week I had my BB, and was amazed by the way it worked. Then when I connected my BB to my computer something went terribly wrong and BerryBuzz was gone. I tried to find some downloadpage email or something to re-install the app. (even wrote a letter to BerryBuzz makers) It didnt work out.

Now since there is an upgrade of the previous version, I deserve to have it for free.

So please?

Anyone used to have an old LG on Verizon? The old LG-VX7000 would light up the colors of the rainbow when it was ringing, green when there was a new SMS or MMS, and red when it was dying, and green when it was fully charged.

(Also I believe the LG VX8000 and VX8100 did the same thing)

Why did I have to wait 4 years for another phone to do the same thing???

Even then I'm soooo going to buy it if I don't win a free copy, I already downloaded the trial and looooooove it!!!!

I am currently not a BB user but I will be getting one no later than the end of this week, so to receive a copy of this app would be absolutely amazing and the perfect 'welcome to the BB world' I could possibly receive..... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider me as a recipient for the BerryBuzz app- it's looks ridiculously amazing. The hairs on my arm are already standing up on end!!!!!

I had the free trial of this, and was so sad when it exprired.

This seems amazing, especially the disco setting. This is my first blackberry and I will never use another phone again. Friends have had blackberrys and i always made fun of them for being glued to their phones. I never put mine down. I even take it into the shower.
