Contest: 100 Free Copies of SimpleWeather

By Adam Zeis on 31 Jul 2009 11:25 am EDT

I got a message from David last night that he has just updated his popular weather app SimpleWeather. The application is a great way to track your local weather right from your device. You can choose up to 3 zip codes, set the update interval and more. The icon will change on your homescreen to reflect the current conditions. SimpleWeather runs on any device with OS 4.3 or higher. The application normally sells for $2.99, but David has thrown us 100 copies to give away free! To enter, just leave a comment on this post. Contest ends this Sunday at Midnight PST. Only one entry per person - so please don't leave more than one comment or only your first entry will count!

Contest: 100 Free Copies of SimpleWeather

Given that weather info is readily and freely available from the web, the cost for an app really should not be high... SimpleWeather is at an honest price (vs others i can mention)..and is to be applauded.

But hey, Put me down for a freebie anyway :)

I just took Weathereye and Weatherbug off my Blackberry, and I am looking for something to replace them. This would be the best Birthday gift from Crackberry!!!!!! Please I want a copy!!!!!!

I've using Weathereye on the Storm but willing to give this one a shot to see if it's better. Send me the code! :)

I have been looking for a simple weather app that doesn't draw too many resources from my Storm. This one looks like it might just be the ticket !! Hope I win !!

Can't get enough berry love I tell ya. Chalk up another cool weather app. Put another shrimp on the barbie!!

I think this would be an awesome app to have. Hourly forecast at your fingertips...great for the golfer that I am or my fellow golfers out there. It would be great if I could win one for free!!! Crackberry is and will always be #1

Weather Eye does not seem to update the homepage like it should. And the weather here in pittsburgh is always changing!

I've been using BBWeather for a while now, not because it's free but because I really like the setup, but this one may be a fitting replacement

Crackberry is Awesome and I love my Tour. Simpleweather looks like a great app, and I would love to get it.

I'm in AZ so all I check all day is the weather. Gotta plan those "going into the heat" times accordingly.

I am constantly forgetting my umbrella, or wear jeans when I should be wearing shorts, and the result is always the same... Be it rain, or sweat running down my legs, I ALWAYS end up with soggy shoes!

If I win this app... I can finally be prepared for the weather day ahead, and plan accordingly, leaving me with DRY SHOES!

a free app! Could use the fact that it hold 3 zips as I travel around my area quite a bit. Here's to hoping I win!

Always interested in what the weather is like in different areas. Would love to get this app.

Contest time again woohoo! Add my name to the drawing. I really like the look of this weather app. As the name implies it just looks simple.

Ive needed something to take the pain of weatherbug away but w.o the price tag of berryweather!

How do you remove the push weather. I have gone intot he settings and removed but it still shows up on my main screen. I have it hidden so i don't see it but i would like it removed.

Looks like a good app... Been looking for a weather app that I like. And you know what they say, "If it free, its for me!"

Have been looking for a weather app for my new 8900 and this looks like it does all I need but with a bit of style.
