Contest: 10 VQ CarFinder Bundles to Give Away!

By Adam Zeis on 11 Aug 2009 01:12 pm EDT

Contest: Leave a comment to this post for your chance to win one of ten VQ CarFinder Bundles!

A few weeks back we checked out VQ CarFinder, a great application that helps you remember where you left your car. I got my hands on the Bluetooth Car Charger to use with this app and I've had a great time playing around with it. The app automatically remembers where you left your car based on the connection with the Bluetooth charger (if you have a vehicle with Bluetooth you can use that as well).

The good folks of VQ are currently running a "Where The %@&# Did I Park??!!" contest where users can submit videos or stories of parking nightmares and be entered to win a BlackBerry smartphone and a CarFinder license. Head over to for more details or check out the submissions on their YouTube page. VQ has also given us 10 CarFinder bundles to give away. The bundle includes a full VQ CarFinder software license as well as a Bluetooth Car Charger (retail value of $64.98). To be entered to win, just leave a comment on this post. Contest ends this Sunday at Midnight PST. Please leave only one comment - multiple submissions won't count.

Contest: 10 VQ CarFinder Bundles to Give Away!

I lost my car at a music festival a few years back. I seem to have a bad habit of not remembering where I park. I kept hitting the remote that would turn on the dome light and yelling, "Has anybody seen my car?". Still do it to this day. If this would've been out then that would've helped. Oh yeah, it still wouldn't have worked, I didn't have a blackberry then. I do now, so this would be sweet.

I didnt want it because the price I thought was way to high for having to by the product plus the Bluetooth device I would love it if it was free

I've tried many in the past for different blackberries, unofrtunately a majority didn't work... hopefully this will work and hopefully I will a free bundle it would be awesome

I really would like one of these for the days that Iam at school all day,, park in the morning and by the time last class gets out at 10pm I cant remember where I parked...

Stories.... Manhattan, NY I parked my Car close to time square, 20 drinks and 6 hours later I couldn't find my car till 3 day later when I received a phone call from the cops. not to mention all the parking tickets and 3 days pond charge..

thx God I don't drink anymore!

I remember a time when we had to wait for the park to close and everyone leave before we found our car!!

Don't you hate it when you go to the mall, amusement park, or other type of entertainment and you had so much fun that you totally forgot where you parked even though you made sure to make mental notes as to what Letter and number section you parked in?

I know I do!

I remember watching people hitting their panic button on their Car remote to make their alarm go it over here? Nope How about over here??? I thought it was so funny to watch before I started to drive...till it happen to me!

so I would deffinately love to win this contest!!! Please pick me.

THANK YOU CB and VQ Carfinder!!!!

Hi! I think this is a great contest! I definitely can use this, especially when the kids are bugging while I'm trying to find the car!

This is a great idea. I just recently lost my car at Six Flags in CA and had to walk around and try to remember what type of cars i parked next too. This would have helped so much.

Was out of state at a festival parked a mile from the location.. Before I left I just started up BBMaps and locked my GPS on location and saved it.. Worked great..

But i would enjoy this also..

I never remember where I park. I'm the one that wanders around the parking lot for 20 minutes going in every lane. I could really use this app.

As a child my mother always lost her car and I swore that I would never be in a situation like she was constantly getting into. One day shortly after I started driving I went where every teenager with nothing better to do goes the mall. After hanging out with friends I went to leave and could not for the life of me remember where I parked so I figured I'll start walking and maybe my car will just jump out at me. Well that never really happened so after making three trips around the entire mall I finally found my car in front of Sears which was odd because I never really recalled going into Sears at any point. A couple years later I started working security at the same mall and every day I had to help many people through the same thing except for the fact I had a security vehicle and was nice enough to drive them around until they found it.

p.s. Am I really the first one?

I could use this since my memory is horrible!

I could forget where I parked my car - even in an empty parking lot! *blush*

every parking lot needs sections named after disney characters just in case i forget where i parked after going into starbucks

I could really use this software. I travel alot and leave my car in long term airport parking and by the time I get back I always have to much on my mind and forget where I parked.

I have visions of her wandering around the airport parking lot, not sure if she's in the right garage, let alone on the right level...

Thank you for the opportunity to request a free copy of carfinder. Would really like one!!

I had been looking at getting this for the wife as a gag gift for her b-day (memory loss ya know ;) ) but free would be even better.

This looks so awesome. Recently could have used it. It wasn't as exciting a search for a parked car as on Seinfeld, though.

I used to have a bright blue truck that i had no problem finding.

Now i am in a sedan that looks like all others and cant find my car at all.

if the app just recorded the GPS coordinates of your vehicle when you park it, and used that to help you locate it? Seems silly to require additional BT hardware on a device with built-in GPS.

This app would be great at the MOA. Hope it has 3D fixes, otherwise a little ramp jumping is in order.

Do you ever lost?
or not capable to find your lovely car.....

Don't fear no more VQ Carfinder will definitly find your car faster then the other....

Its A-Must Have App

Now I could use this. My wife never knows where she parked so this will be in her car about 2 mins. after opening it up.

Thank g-d this device was not available when they were filming that episode of Seinfeld. The one where they spend the whole episode looking for their car. It was classic and absolutely hilarious.

That being said, it isn't so funny when I go through the samething. This would be awesome!

Please, oh please, pick me!

Where I live it's park where ever the kids aren't hanging around and sitting on your car, loitering, messing around with your mirrors and such.

I really need this, becuase sometimes I have to park far away to keep away from them, and sometimes just to even find a spot.

I lost my grandmother (Mawmaw) about a month ago. One of the funniest memories I Have of her is from '84 or '85. We had gone to the rodeo (Houston) to see her favorite singer. When the show was over we went to the parking lot to leave. I had cried all the while Mawmaw was dragging me around the parking lot (I was 4!) looking for her shiny new candy apple red Ford Escort. I kept telling her the car was by the big circle with lights (ferris wheel) and she just wouldn't listen. We walked aound for almost 2 hours until she finally decided there was nothing to lose by walking around the other side of the Astrodome to the big wheel. Sure enough, there sat the car all by itself! If only she had a Berry and this app- lol. To some it may sound corny or even stupid but it will always be a cherished memory for me.

My wife would love this..

She keeps forgetting where she parked the car ....

Would make a nice birthday present...

memories of the seinfeld episode where they lost the car in the parking garage, carrying the tv all over looking for it...classic. now, where did i put my keys?

Great App; now if only we can develop a “station-wagon eating Cyclops” detector for my new Tour, I would be in business.
