BlackBerry OS 6 9300

These leaks seems to come in pairs (or more) lately. Here we have OS 6.0.0.418 for the BlackBerry Curve 9300. Some more fun for Curve 3G users to get in on. If you install this one be sure to jump into the forums and post your findings. Hopefully it fixes some of the bugs from the last leak, so be sure to let us know. As always, use caution when installing a leaked OS.

*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). *

That is why they tell you to back up your blackberry so if something does go wrong you can restore it. I installed the .380 on my bb just last week and it worked fine. Looking forward to install this os when I get home this evening.

is there a difference in 9300 and 9330

big_time2

9300 is for ATT and Tmo while 9330 is for Verizon and Sprint.

emirozmen

and the other difference is 9300 has 256 mb of ram while the 9330 has 512 mb of ram

installed and enjoying!

xenorph

sweet they fixed the problem with the cursor disappearing on long menus

crump64

Installed last night. Im enjoying all the feature runs a lot faster and not as glitchy. I also agree with xenorph about the disappearing cursor glad they fixed that it was very nerve racking. Recommend everyone to upgrade to this os works very well.

Is anyone missing the Social Feeds App? Do you know where I can get it? I installed this on my Curve last night, and I love it, but I really only did it early because of this particular app. Although, I'm glad I did it regardless.
