Redial On!

Dropped calls are a fact of life when you use a cell phone. No matter what carrier you have, or what kind of phone, you will eventually have a dropped call. Redial On! is a small utility application for BlackBerry that will automatically call back for you when your call is dropped due to network error. You simply set up the criteria you want the app to function under, and it runs in the background, ready to spring into action when needed. There are several options you can choose, such as having the app only run during scheduled hours/days and number of redial attemps.

Another aspect to Redial On! is for outgoing calls. It can be really frustrating to need to talk to someone, but when you call all you get is a busy signal. Redial On! can be set to continue trying to call back for you until the call goes through, or for as many times as you set it for. No matter how you use this app, there are a lot of different options so you can customize it to your specific needs.

Redial On! is on sale in the CrackBerry store for $3.99 (normally $5.99), and a free 7 day trial is available. If you live in an area with spotty coverage, or frequently call people who don't have call waiting, this app may be just what you need! Try it out, let us know what you think in the comments below.

When I try to call someone back right after the call drops, all I get is their voicemail.

If you spend money on this you have issues. Why is this on the main blog page.

what's even worse is that they demand 6 bucks for it at regular pricing...

... and I just checked, my 3 year old Panasonic house phone does the exact same this does. Another fine example of an insanely overpriced absolutely useless BB app.

This looks exactly like AutoRedial, except AutoRedial is only $0.99... http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=34333

As the above person said, this should be an iPhone app, not a BlackBerry app. I NEVER drop calls unless I'm speaking to someone who has an iPhone.

My case exactly. Sometimes I don't even want to answer calls from my husband and his iphone4! This app is a joke.

5 second delay option? 5 seconds after a dropped call I would have already had time to push the green button twice...

There was an outage on the Rogers network in my area a little while ago. It was a pain in the butt to say the least, especially for only having one phone. Could have used an app like this before. Not necessarily this one, but an app like it :D

That stuff don't happen to me on VZW, ever. I think phishgirl3 is on TMO though. It might be handy for those people. :)

For that price I can hit the button for free
