Twitter for BlackBerry updated to v4.1.0.5 in the BlackBerry Beta Zone

The latest beta release of Twitter for BlackBerry has arrived in the BlackBerry Beta Zone and brings along some changes that may pique your interest. With a version bump up to 4.1.05, BlackBerry has included the changelog for everyone and here's a look at what you can expect in this release:

Pre-populate Sign up Screen - make the process for sign up of Twitter account easier by pre-populating email and full name field with user BBID credentials.
Profile Enhancements - Align with Twitter extended profile
Time Line Focus Enhancements - Provide consistent experience across platforms, focusing on the entire tweet and then items within the tweet
Push Notification for Interactions - Option to turn on notification for: Re-tweeted, Favorited, and Followed by

Thanks for the news Bla1ze, but for BB10, does the Blackberry Beta Zone still work the same way? Or would the Beta Zone be only for OS 7 or less?

Right now, it's for legacy OS's, and I have yet to hear if they will allow for BB10 users to adapt into beta programs. I might be wrong, because i haven't been in the beta site since I got my Z10.

They have said they are working on adding the Z10 to the Beta Zone.

Fail I signed up for the beta zone clicked the email for program download and it reads - sorry this application isn't available for blackberry 10..

Buddy, keep in mind that nobody said that BlackBerry Beta Zone beta links would work for BlackBerry 10 devices. For the longest time, it's always been legacy BlackBerry OS devices like the Torch or the Bold 9900. It's your fault for assuming that it should work for BlackBerry 10. So technically, that's not fail on BlackBerry's part but more like fail on your part for not knowing that.

R Field - Perhaps you might consider looking at the picture that Bla1ze included with this post before claiming it's a fail that it's not for BB10.

Beta Zone hasn't been announced for BB10 and has always been for the millions of people still on BBOS.

To you I say, fail. Lol.
