To d/l or not d/l? My Torch 9850 is pretty snappy at the moment.

I'm running OS5 on my Storm 2; I've learned not to update anything unless I have to or there is a demonstrable benefit. If it ain't broke, I don't fix it. I've been burned more than once with app updates that didn't work and caused crashes, like Foursquare, App World, Twitter.

Updated my 9850 with this the other day. OS works great, no complaints at all, my phone is even turning on faster.
on Manage connections the "all off" button has been moved to the left
You can now change the led color for contacts and so on, just go to your contact and edit the look for visual notifications
And the music glitch is now more invasive, it automatically does it to me instead of when it used to do so when I would pause the song (but honestly I like the glitch, it makes the music louder)
These are finding of mine but the list may be bigger

I have the Torch 9850 for Verizon. I am running the 7.0 update. Only because any update after 7.0 ruined my speaker phone loudness to where it was not usable. So, I downgraded for now until they BB fixes it.
Does anybody know if the speaker phone is working now with this new OS 7.1.0.861?
Please reply here or message me. Many thanks.

Try it and see. That's the only way to find out. :)

I'm running v7.1.0.755. When I try to upgrade to .861 via apploader (vendor.xml removed), there is no change in the OS. When I look at the files, everything is from 9/2012. Am I not deleting something? I have never had this issue with any previous upgrade. Any and all guidance would be appreciated.
