If you're anything like me, you are constantly checking for new software updates on your BlackBerry Z10.
I always feel like I'll miss out if I don't check manually, even though I know well that I'll get an alert when a new version is ready to download.
Granted, new OS updates don't come out all that often, but I still don't want to miss out and be one of the first to grab them when they do arrive.
It's usually part of my morning routine after I check over my emails -- I jump into the software updates and check manually to make sure I'm not missing out.
While it's not something you necessarily need to do since you'll be notified when an update is actually available, it's still handy in case you have OCD like I do.
Keep reading to see how you can manually check for new OS updates on your BlackBerry 10 device.
-
Tap the Settings icon
-
Tap Software Updates
-
Tap the Check for Updates button

The device will look for available updates and if any are available, prompt you to update the device.

I'm also on 10.0.9. How do I get 10.0.10? When I check it says no update available.

You have to be part of the Secret BlackBerry Society. From what I hear, you swear an oath, and then they brand you with the BlackBerry symbol. And of course, the first rule of Secret BlackBerry Society...you never talk about Secret BlackBerry Society.
