Hot off the press (no pun intended) this evening is the release of the New York Times app for those lucky enough to be picking up a BlackBerry Z10. The app provides top news articles free of charge, or users can subscribe for further content, such as video and slide shows.

With deep sharing integration, sharing a news story is only a few screen taps away. Like thousands of new BlackBerry 10 apps you can share via e-mail, SMS, social networks and BBM just to name a few.

You can catch the full press release below along with the download link.

Development for PB OS is as dead as BB7 and lower. Maybe even less so because once BB10 replaces PB OS on the PB no devices will be running the OS, while RIM will support BB7 for lower price phones for some time yet

As soon I get my bb10, I'm gonna down the nyt app and read all the bb10 hatred articles that they published, lol.

I know right. For all the crap they stated about BB and then they make an app for Blackberry's flagship.. what a buncha hypocrites

Lol and you can't buy the phone in NY, or anywhere in the US until late March! Very useful! RIM stock is taking a beating after the announcement. BlackBerry's official slogan should be "Just Wait!"

We need BB10 on the Playbook now so we can get in on these new apps...

Throw those of us who bought the 'development device' a bone here!
