BeBuzz 6 makes its way to BlackBerry App World
BeBuzz 6 has had a great beta period through the CrackBerry forums and has now finally made its way to an official version. The latest update brings some great new features and fixes that should tide everyone over until BlackBerry 10. BeBuzz has long been one of my favorite apps for BlackBerry and I can't want to see what the folks at Bellshare have in store for BlackBerry 10. Keep reading for the full press release or hit the link below to get it now. The update is free for current BeBuzz 5 users ($2.99 otherwise).
Features include:
- E-mail, text and BBM filters. Create notifications for specific messages filtered by message sender, subject, body etc.
- Automatically perform actions on filtered e-mail messages (Delete, mark as read, change priority)
- Use toasts or fully interactive popups for e-mails and text messages. Reply, forward mark as read e-mails and texts straight from the popup. Popups are fully customizable (Display, font, buttons etc)
- E-mail notifications. Missing notifications while your phone is in the other room? Get an e-mail on your desktop PC when your phone's battery is empty, phone is fully charged, when you get a new BBM or any other notification supported by BeBuzz.
- Limit sending of e-mail notifications to when your phone is face up/down or charging
- Select to have the initial audible alert played by BeBuzz in addition to the audible reminders
- Many bug fixes

i got v 6.0.28 some days back as a free update from appworld. i dont know what version i had prior but i bought bebuzz a year ago...the version i had uses up far more battery resources than Advanced OS and LED...i hope this version has addressed that....

Nice update. The full pop up is awesome and includes great keyboard shortcuts.

I have ver 5 and app world says I have to pay 2:99 for it I have never downloaded it from app world, I used to be a beta tester when it was on bellshares site so how do I get the free upgrade?

Considering the absolute lack of customer service on their part, I wouldn't download another one of their products if they paid me. I had all sorts of issues with BeBuzz after switching phones earlier this year and despite having the license for the app transferred to the new device, at least once a month the app would stop working and I would get a message about the license being for another device and that I needed to transfer the license to my current device. I sent a support ticket to them and never heard back.

i've already paid twice for this product and i cannot believe they'd charge for a 3rd update. wow.

Had bebuzz for years. I've always just set the different colors for my LED. I should probably play around with it more. I've never had to pay for a second time either. Even while going through 100 phones. Bellshare will send every product key you've bought from them all at once. And the update rolled through my app world for free last week

Screw BeBuzz, Advanve OS and LED all the way!! I had BeBuzz for a while and when I purchased an update, it kept refusing to activate due to an issue with the keycode. I contacted BellShare and received no response. Furthermore I had BeWeather which was offered complimentary by Blackberry last year, but after an OS update, they refused to validate my keycode. BellShare can kiss my a**.

Advanve OS and LED for free does so much more using less resources, so why would I want to pay for getting another update from bellshare, also deleted beweather and went with free weather app that is better.

They charge for this, then they charge again for that, then more charges for this again. Who do they think they are, Apple?
