Happy Monday CrackBerryland! I've found a few cool apps and games for you to try out this week. If you find some time in your busy schedules, check out my list below and see what new ones you want to try out. If you come across anything amazing, be sure to leave a comment here letting us know so everyone else can check it out as well. Keep reading for the full list and have an awesome week!

Ragdoll Laser Dodge

Ragdoll Laser Dodge

The title just makes you want to play this one. In Ragdoll Laser Dodge, you dodge lasers with your ragdoll, get it? The lasers will zap off your body parts if they hit you, so protect yourself or it's the end of the road. Just drag the ragdoll around to dodge, but things obvisouly get harder as you go along. This one is tons of fun. Trust me. $0.99 for the BlackBerry PlayBook in App World.

Rock Party Tower Defense

Rock Party Tower Defense

I'm always on the lookout for the next great tower defense game, and Rock Party Tower Defense caught my eye this week. You and your pals are throwing an amazing rock party, but you'll have to keep the party crashers out of the festivities. There are four environments and multiple difficulties so this one will keep you coming back for more. There aren't many good tower defense options for BlackBerry unfortunately, but this one is great to get your fix. $1.99 in BlackBerry App World.

Pencil Sketch Pro

Pencil Sketch Pro

This little app lets you transform your photos into cool pencil sketches. There really isn't much to it beyond that. You can't tweak very much and don't have to do any major editing, but the app does a great job on most photos and cranks out some very cool sketches. Grab this for just $0.99 in App World.

Slide Lock for Your BlackBerry

Slide Lock

If you are in the market for a new lock screen, this one will do the trick. It's a simple slide lock but it just works, and that's all that matters. You can set it to lock immediately after your screen dims or a specific amount of time. Choose the lock screen image as well as load on startup. Just the right amount of features to make this app great without going crazy. It's 75% off in App World ($1.99).

Sometimes you can press the hardware based unlock key on BB by mistake in your pocket. Happened a lot of the times with me.

You can't slide the slide slock by mistake in your pocket.

I just find it a pain using the top lock button on my curve, I dont find it easy to push and when i try it feels like the phone is going to slip out of my hand.

For me, no issues with the lock button at the top of the bold 9900. It does the job. Lock it, holster it. Done. I tried a few slide lock apps and they did interfere with the video recording application, interrupting it, regardless if I turned it off or quit/disabled the app. It did the same with the voice recorder application and viewing/listening to media.
