"pricing a bit nutty"??? Ha! What they call pricing, we call robbery!
zensen Dec 14, 2010 at 12:52 pm
and it'll be 99 cents on the ovi store?
mustangboy88 Dec 14, 2010 at 1:08 pm
And probably will be 2.99/month. It's guarenteed that if it's on BB, it will have a 1000% mark up. (Sigh)

Idiotic.
I repeat: where is RIM's PR agency?
I volunteer to take over as their PR agency, even though I have zero experience because I know I could do a better job by use of just common sense.
FrankJones Dec 14, 2010 at 2:04 pm
What exactly is your problem with RIM's PR agency concerning this release?
kennyiceberry Dec 15, 2010 at 1:26 pm
OK, let me answer that by means of a rhetorical question:
Do you think RIM's PR agencies
http://fwd4.me/cNX
give RIM good advice about how to manage its profile with respect to public perceptions of [broadly speaking] their
1. stance on customer care
2. competence as a major business corporation [the idea of displaying a degree of efficiency in what RIM does in public.] ?
In my view, RIM has performed woefully in both broad areas.
And that's my problem with RIM's PR agencies concerning this release and many other items of RIM news over the last two years [of which the most notorious was The Storm device.]
Feel free to ask me any further question you wish.

Insane price.

This is a good opening for BNN or the Financial Post in Canada to come out with a cheaper (read: FREE) version for BB. For folks outside of Canada, BNN is our Business News Network TV station. Yes, the name is cheesey but they are the only game.
Irving94 Dec 14, 2010 at 7:49 pm
Free on iPhone? Yeah, sorry. No thanks. I'd rather use the money I save from the app and go there.

Not working on VZ Storm2 (9550) .1015
As for as pricing, I currently subscribe to CNBCplus for $9.95/mo. This allows me to watch CNBC live on my laptop. Doesn't allow video access via Blackbery.
The new CNBCpro replaces the above and I must say is expensive.
I got steamed when I saw the app for ipad that allows the same for free.
CNBC anchors have iPads all over the place when on the screen.
