I always have a slight unsettling feeling when I swipe my card through someone's phone...

The Organized Ladies in Vegas should like this. :D

Agreed. I'm not sure if it's going to be a fading feeling like I had with Mint.com, ("entering banking info to a website??!! "-- was my feeling at the time, but soon faded when it was well received and highly acclaimed.
Guess it's just time to wait and see!

Comission on iPhone transactions is an outrageous 3.75%. Doubt it will be any less for BB.

3.75%? Are you sure you are using ChargeAnywhere and not Square? I was under 2%.
ChargeAnywhere has security which is approved by Visa, MC, etc - Square has none. In addition, you get a reduced price by swiping a card versus entering/typing a card number onto your PC/mobile phone.
Depending on how you are set up as a merchant vendor, your industry may have a higher cost associated with it - such as services vs products.

Dumped my BB because I couldn't run Square on it. New Nexus is a DREAM and running Square couldn't be simpler. I tried the Intuit BB reader/app, reader didn't work and app sucked.

Nice. I'll never use it but I like to see BB getting more and more third party support. Hopefully, NFC and a few other efforts will allow it to resume strong growth.
I love BBM Music and look forward to BB Movies. Also, free voice navigation through BB Traffic is awesome (especially after I looked at my data consumption with the carrier). RIM has been working hard at making the UI and available tools and expanding support for their devices.
By the way, I don't know if it was the OS upgrade or the new cradle/charging pod but the battery on my Bold 9930 just goes a full 16 hour day no problem.
Last year was tough. I hope this is the year RIM makes a strong come back. I'm certainly pimping my Bold 9930 and Playbook to everyone I know.

I wonder if it will work on the Playbook... I'd love that!
