If you're not sure who Kenneth Tong is, his credits include the UK Channel 4 Big Brother, as well as the upcoming Millionaire Matchmaker. Well, it turns out Kenneth is a huge CrackBerry fan (and BlackBerry fan in general) and took some time to send in these photos of his new 24 carat gold plated Bold 9700. Its done up from top to bottom, and although not everyone's taste, it does look great....

[ youtube video link for mobile viewing ] Apparently not everyone has given up on the good ol' Pearl. It looks like McDonalds thinks it is still suitable to hold its own in their latest commercial. It does get some decent airtime, and man is that jingle catchy (you can snag the ringtone here). Check out the video above for a quick laugh, and good luck getting that song out of your head...

It wasn't too long ago that good ole Jerry Seinfeld was dissing BlackBerry's, BlackBerry People and iPhones in an interview with Conan. It was funny stuff. I guess so funny he brought the "BlackBerry People" rant back recently on Letterman. Funny cuz it's true :) [ via BBCool ]

Cruising the forums I came across this thread with a request for pig emoticon. I obviously had no idea there was one, but just a few replies into the thread, it turns out there are a load of hidden emoticons deep inside BlackBerry Messenger. Anyone remember the BlueBerry? Back during intial release the BlueBerry was the device to have. Ok, maybe not. But, it sure did bring some laughs to our day. Seems the BlueBerry series is not going any where anytime soon. Seeing how they just released the BlueBerry 9500 with a slick new trackpad, dual SIM, WiFi and even Mobile TV with a built in antenna. Its true that every once in a while BlackBerry stories come along that aren't totally tech-related ... well here's one for the books. Inside an Ohio restaurant, a woman was saved by her BlackBerry after a gun accidentally discharged. Anthony Holtvogt and his girlfriend were preparing to leave the establishment when the .32 caliber weapon discharged and landed dead-center on his girlfriends...
