I bought mine from there sim-free, don't think I could go with Orange although they are a bit better than they used to be because of the merger. 100 minutes isn't much and I wonder if it comes with BIS?

Richard Devine

I just got one from Orange direct as an upgrade. Rang the loyalty team, complained about their prices, used this offer as bait and they've done me one for £23 a month. And i don't lose my number either, and i get more minutes and data than this offer :)

MadGasser

Why is it that I see all these great deals for BIS in the UK, but I'm stuck here in the states paying $73/month? Why do carriers here in the states think it's necessary to charge us preposterous rates? #pissed

Perjade

Tempted ?? What?! A contract for 24 months with yesterdays technology, unable to uppgrade to BB 10 !! This is total cheating ! Only a fool will be "tempted" ! :(

Richard Devine

Considering that we don't have a date yet for BB10 anywhere in the world (well, a specific date at least) why wouldn't people be tempted? It's like in the Android world, there's always something better around the corner. If you wait, you'll spend your whole life waiting

CarBob

To Perjade: -- Why do you come to the CrackBerry website and go out of your way to make insulting comments about RIM and/or BlackBerry? Do something constructive with your time! Who knows, maybe you'll feel better. Give us all a break.

Please moderators, ban this moron from spewing this hatefulness and thereby polluting our site!

Actually no, this is a deal for someone on a budget who needs a communication device. If they want BB10 they will have to pay a lot more.

grnrprl

It will be £35.00 or £40.00 /month with 400 or 500 minutes, unlimited texts, 500Mb or 1Gb data and... something else :) So, this offer seems to be out of date a bit. BB9900 has no good battery, no autofocus, no future... BB10 has everything new smartphone should have, and it's our beloved BlackBerry!

Rootbrian

Yeah yeah yeah. The average consumer doesn't give a rat's arse. You just wait forever until it's released and then say it's outdated again and again and again and again and again and again and again. Get over it. If you can't appreciate anything, don't buy anything. I have a feeling you're using a sock puppet to back yourself up. Heh, sucks to be you if I'm correct.

grnrprl

Sockpuppet? :) I'm a living person, extremely addicted to all the best RIM offered and will offer. Last BB I truly loved was 9780. Next one will be BB10 - it's worth any money!

Rootbrian

Oh and it does have a future. It's just not yours. Here's the door.

Rootbrian

You just got served, now get out.

TheBlackberryUser33

I'm jealous. Over two times the data I get from ATT, and at a lower cost too... Now if they start giving the UK those gold 9900s too... While I am stuck in the Apple infested USA...

Proudly a member of TeamBlackberry, and in it for the long haul.

CarGuy1368

Long-lasting battery? Riiiiight. As much as I love my Bold 9900, I must admit I've had to buy a spare battery.

dragonx6

sigh cant get those types of deal in jamaica. have to pay either full price or 3/4 price for the phones down here.

daveshiz

This is a good offer as a torch or 9790 are still going for 30 + on most carriers i still love my 9900 and to be honest dreading giving it up when bb10 with keyboard arrives
