The question is why RIM does not make a publicity based on such things? Z10 with BB10.2.1 is a very good piece of bargain device for such money. It can be not only BB's 'nexus' but even 'moto g'. Do start at last thinking business Guys in Canada! :|

[...] BBs always for young professionals - new BYOD hero: www.smartman.mobi

I don't think so. BlackBerry phones are not that popular so they re "trying" to make them more appealing by lowering the price which I doubt is gonna work.

The z10's and q10's were priced to high when they were launched. If they had made them a little cheaper than probably more z10's would be in the hands of ppl

I think BB should have pulled a bit of a Nokia strategy. Lower price devices to drive market share of BB10.
Gain the market share to gain the app developers attention. Instead there was a $1B write-down on Z10. Same thing happened with the PlayBook. Initial price was too high (I bought one on first day), large $485M write-down, then they lowered prices. Then we hear the comments of "too little too late".

With cheap Android devices popping up everyday with higher specs then a Z10, how can you demand a premium when you're not in the position to (ex. Apple and Samsung). Nokia went from the top to bottom and now making a dent in the recovery.

Cheap android devices is exactly correct. To get a z10 with the latest OS for a low price is more than worth it, regardless of initial pricing and OS releases. Get over it and go buy a great device. You won't be sorry. Oh and when the next OS gets released you will be in for a great and amazing OS.

Trolls should be forced to use BB10!

This is like the "Pick a PlayBook up at £110 as it'll get BB10 in the future" but the Z10 actually will get 10.2.1.1055 so it's s great deal for those who are missing some apps and won't allow themselves to put up with a hemorrhoid.

F me..cheap as chips! still, waiting to get a Q10 at bargain price for Xmás.. what gives CPW

Posted via CB10

My thoughts exactly! That would have put BlackBerry 10 on the map for sure! Live and learn i guess...

Posted via the best phone ever. The white Z10.

I gather you can get a uk trusted friend and pay them the money to but for you and also cover postage.

Can't see any problem with that. You may want to look for a simfree version though!

Use a package forwarding service such as ComGateway or Shop and Ship by Aramex.
They may work in your country... just check their website for more details.

With the price cuts on this phone all over the place it is making it very temping to get as a gift/secondary phone. Decisions for sure!

To this day, after I heard the writedown of this stock, you knew the phones were going to go on a massive fire sale. Yet Blackberry online is still holding their price high. Maybe, in the near future, we will see Blackberry cut the price on their online store and really making it worth obtaining! Good price with no contracts to be tied too is what I like!

Blackberry please make this happen so I can say, "HERE IS MY MONEY!" LOL

For some strange reason I get the feeling that we should expect a new Z10 replacement any time soon. I got my Z10 on the 31st Jan 2013 and I won't be surprised if BlackBerry release new handsets in January 2014.

Z10 of course.

There is already a Z30 (the Z10 "bigger" brother)

Posted via CB10 on my Q10 (Q10SQN100-3/10.2.1.1055)

How about a Z10, mark 2 - same form factor so that cases are compatible, but better specs on the hardware (CPU, GPU, maybe RAM, AMOLED like the Z30, FM radio, Miracast)...

We already know that its inventory has been written down...the bad news has already come. This is the good part of the write-down news.

What a bummer, wish I waited 2 months, this is one great price on a great device. Have never looked back since upgrading to a Z10.

Must be a new version - or does anyone on this planet see this

"Standby Time: up to 305 hours on 3G"

with their Z10?

Posted via CB10

Go into settings, security and privacy, diagnostics an turn off.

Also, go into settings, location services, and turn off traffic data collection and location based adds.

In my experience you will see much better battery life.

And of course using buggy android ports is going to destroy your battery.

Well get your X mas present early. As am waiting for the Z30 to drop in price. By the 10.2.1 would be official and I can stop abusing the Z and Q10.

Best device from blackberry Z10 so far for me.

Posted via CB10

At this price, I'm sure there will be people who never previously had the blackberry experience willing to give it a go, and hopefully word and mouth will spread how great a device that the Z10 is.

Posted via CB10

If they had put the z10 out at this price initially and marketed as a entry level device it could well have been a hit.
Ah well....

Posted via CB10

This is a great deal. Get the damn phone in people's hand and they will never go back. I just about died working with my son's iPhone last week. What a relic.

Ah I jumped in a week early to pick up a Z10, but it's been running lots of lovely 10.2.1 goodness and showing what is comming. Once they release this it's going to be very compelling!

Posted via CB10

More people recommend the BB Z10 than the Apple 5S. How are these phones not running off the shelves?

Posted via CB10

The similarly specced iPhone 5S at £500+ or a Z10 for under £200? No contest, and to my mind OS 10.2.1 is going to remove the last real reason why BB10 shouldn't take off. Even at £230, the Z10 is currently the 6th most popular SIM-free smartphone on Amazon.co.uk.

Buy it, buy it.

And wait for that awesome OS BlackBerry devs are working on,

Soon very soon the best OS will be yours :D

I bought my Z10 last week. Love it. Great deal. Hopefully people will take them up on the offer.

Posted via CB10

Can't believe it's now only 150 quid. Love my Z10 and that is an absolute bargain!

Might get my mum and dad one each for Christmas now

Posted via CB10

Let me put it this way,
The Z10 has made me so super productive that picking one up cheap is a great value...

With 10.2.1 blackberry with Android, you can bet this phone will be attractive to the masses again.

White Rogers Z10 10.2 Dark Theme

I’ve noticed that that offer is for upgrades, do you have to be upgrading your phone to get it at the offer price or can you buy it straight off?

Yeah it's been this price for a while now as a upgrade, price is still the same for normal payg customers, bad reporting I think..... I'm a bit fukced off cos if it was 150 I was gonna buy one tomorrow.

Posted via CB10

I want this kind of discount also on Q5 and Q10 as well!! ;-) Anyway, really good news for British.. Here in Italy the phone off contract is still 399 euros!!

Posted via CB10

I you wait long enough it will "free"! They might even pay you to take it off their hands!!! WOWWY WOWWA!!!

Posted via CB10

These guys get so much air time on here
You would think that they're the only company that sells BlackBerry smartphones, outright or on carriers over in the UK .

Of they are truly the cheapest, best way to get them, they must have a decent relationship with a supplier or BlackBerry themselves.

BBRY's CEO is working hard and fast. Sell as many Z10's as much as possible before Christmas. Make the BB10 platform a Christmas present for people. Good work, getting aggressive in pricing. I am confident BBRY are in talks with many more suppliers.

If the phone shops that have blackberry 10 devices in there stores took them off demo mode (it's almost as if they don't want people to see what there like to use) and gave people a chance to try them maybe a few more would of been sold.

Q10 loud and proud.

Absolutely correct. The demo mode is terrible. People think that demo mode is the real interface and give up after a few minutes.

Posted via CB10

Are they selling unlocked versions, I could pick up a few if they work on Mobilink or other providers.

Posted via CB10

You can get it unlocked for 159.90 plus compulsory 10£ top up,so it is 169.90£...

Posted via CB10

I am new to BB10, was using Symbian/android/wp7/wp8 before, my last device was Nokia Lumia 920,as I saw the bargain @CPW decided to give a try. After week I sold my Nokia and was very happy with Z10, but after update to 10.2.1 I noticed a lot of crashes even BlackBerry Apps, skype, most of Android apps do not work, crashing at launch. The Pic password nice though...

Posted via CB10

Fully agree with you,mate- 10.2.1.is unstable, ported Android apps do not work properly.

Posted via CB10

that is why 10.2.1 is in beta form, anyhow it is working out just fine for me, and most if not all Android apps are working great with minor glitches, which is to be expected.

The only android ported app which is stable on mine Z10 os10.2.1.is The Weather Channel...and some games...I got them from Amazon appstore.
But some apps started to crash like Skype, eBay etc.
I hope to get official update soon...

Posted via CB10

And it is 149.90 on upgrade,so if you are new customer you will have to pay 159.90 plus £10 topup, that price was a week ago already...

Posted via CB10

I just bought a white one this afternoon , sim free, 179.95 pounds. Happy for the price.

Posted via CB10

Seriously James, stop orgasming every time this happens. It's making the phone look bad.

Posted via CB10

I paid 485 Sim free from same retailer. When z10 was released and thought I got a good deal as it was about 100 cheaper than an iPhone. You know what... i dont actually regret that purchase because this is a great phone... at 150 Sim free.. it's wonderful value.
