Spring is almost here and with it comes a whole new season of pictures to take on our BlackBerry smartphones. Here to help you capture the perfect shot is the just-updated Camera++. It comes with an array of tools designed to help adjust various capture settings to take full advantage of your camera's hardware. This updated version adds a new feature that many will find useful — support for Bluetooth selfie sticks — as well as improvements to time-lapse photography and photo stamping.

The latest version is now available to download in BlackBerry World. Here's what's new:

  • For longer time-lapse photography sessions a number of images increased to 500 in Photo and Manual modes
  • Due to multiple requests added support for Bluetooth selfie sticks. Please note that not all Bluetooth selfie sticks may be supported. Selfie stick must first be paired with the device and it should be recognized as HID device
  • For various business cases added support for date/time photo stamping in Photo and Manual capture modes. The stamping of images takes some time and therefore in multi-shot sequences the thumbnail may appear after several seconds (delay depends on number of images in sequence)

If you've been meaning to pick up a selfie stick for your BlackBerry, or already have one, you'll no doubt find this new feature to be quite useful.

Camera++ is priced at $2.99 and is compatible with all BlackBerry 10 devices.
