I'm sure that I am not alone in having many different social networking accounts. Mine are slowly racking up, as I like to try them all out and then eventually cut out the ones I don't like. When you have so many it's hard to post to all of them when each service has their own app. That's when a cool new app like Buffer comes along. If you haven't heard of it before., Buffer is a service that allows you to update to multiple social networks in one go.
Now Buffer is coming to BlackBerry 10. In fact, it's already available through BlackBerry World, so if you've got a Dev Alpha, you can check it out now. I've been using it for awhile and it has made things a lot easier for me. Using this app, you can schedule updates to your social media accounts, spreading out your content throughout the day so that everything doesn't come as a flood on your networks. Buffer supports a lot of the top social networks so you can be sure you'll reach all of them with just one click.
Buffer also offers analytics so you can see how far your updates reach, how many clicks your links get and how many retweets it gets. Pretty neat right? Definitely a service to be checked out.
In CrackBerry fashion, you'll be seeing a review in the near future. Watch this space.

Should note its available for PlayBook too. Actually launched on PLAYBOOK two weeks ago. It's an Android port on PLAYBOOK.

Is it an android port for the dev alpha

Are we getting anywhere with marquee apps for the launch or have we got to wait until Wednesday to see if all the big hitters have made BlackBerry apps? It would be nice to just carry 1 device for a change and not a BB for communication and another for everything else.

ciscobear Jan 28, 2013 at 11:16 pm
