Just because the emails and messages arrive 24 hours a day doesnt mean they have to be attended to. I use the service after hours to ensure that I am "in the loop" on what is going on, and as an early warning system for things that might be brewing that "could" escalate if not attended to ...

To strike because the CHOOSE to attend to the matters at the time is ridiculous and they should be relieved of post.

I think it depends on if the are expected to respond after hours. If they aren't, then shutting off their blackberries should have little to no effect. If BT is expecting immediate responses, then I can see how the "strike" can show how much extra work is being done.

I´m giving support to latina america to this product and we have th "passive guard" which is taking care about things could happend during the night, but It´s turning more active than passive, and the other day I have to work and the pay isn´t is so good..... sucks.
