BlackBerry Curve 9320 caught on camera once again - This time in blue

BlackBerry Curve 9320 Blue

The BlackBerry Curve 9320 has been popping up all over the place the last few weeks. We saw it in the forums not too long ago, and just yesterday listed on T-Mobile UK as coming soon. Here again we have another quick shot of the Curve 9320 - this time not only in black, but also blue. We've seen photos of the black/silver combo all along, but this is the first time we've seen a different version. We're not totally sure if this edition (or any others) will be offered up by carriers, but I could definitely get down with a blue device.

What are your thoughts? Is blue a good color for a device? Sound off in the comments!

Blue looks nice! If i were RIM i would take a play out of Apples ipod book and have a whole spectrum of colours available. Better for that kids, ya know?

The only reason I like this phone is that it's the last phone on RIM's 2012 roadmap prior to the BB10 phone launch.

Stop being so hateful. It's not junk, it's for ENTRY LEVEL MARKETS, EMERGING MARKETS. Get over it. Get out if you can't be nice.

dude... this phone looks like a work horse. you could probably drop it repeatedly and run it in the dirty and it would still keep on rocking.

The 9320 is on the left, the 9220 is on the right.

I thought the 9320 is the successor of the curve 9300 and the 9220 is the 8520's.

Not sure of the specifications. Its just design-wise these look like the next step for RIM to make their entry-level phones have BB7.

I still remember how RIM stated that a large percentage of BlackBerry users are still using outdated software. That's mainly because the 8520 is the best selling phone and users don't have the best BlackBerry experience. So now they're making sure that every phone they release comes with BB7.

And for those thinking that RIM is uselessly producing more models.

RIM is now pushing on emerging markets.

Adding a BlackBerry device for any budget is a good thing for customers.

This way according to how much you can afford, you can get the best bang for your buck. And anyways after these two release it's just the BB10 phones they will be focused on. So expect the 9220 and the 9320 to remain in the market for a good 2-3 years.

Indeed, these will be around for a while at the entry-level and will allow them to EoL the 8520 and 9300 so bb7 is available at every price point until bb10 appears for the upper end of their range.

Oh that beloved Curve keyboard. If only, if only RIM would put that keyboard on the Bold phones life would be so much easier.

I love my Bold but I hate that stupid keyboard. The Curve one is so much easier to use.

I love the blue color too.

Are you serious!? The keyboard on the bold phones has been the best keyboards on a mobile device period (especially the 99xx keyboard). the curve keyboards have been crap. And I'm not just saying this, I have had curves in the past and wont be making that mistake ever again!

having said that I guess the saying goes "to each their own" ...

@MobiGyaan has announced a few specs of the Curve 9220.

They tweeted this from a BlackBerry press conference in New Delhi, India

"@MobiGyaan: BlackBerry Curve 9220 announced with Wi-Fi, BB 7.1 OS, FM radio, and to be available in India first from the 19th of April."

Sunil Dutt. MD stated there are over 77 million subscribers around the world.

"@MobiGyaan: As a part of launch, the BlackBerry 9220 will allow users to download free apps worth Rs. 2,500. Offer valid till 30 June."

This is only valid for Indian customers I guess : /
