AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8900

The BlackBerry Curve 8300 was and still is one of RIM's most successful smartphone devices. Recognizing that, RIM released a new version of the popular curve. The new device is called the BlackBerry Curve 8900. Already available on T-Mobile for a while now, this next generation Curve recently landed on AT&T. The 8900 has an all new body, but has a similar layout and feel that any 8300 Curve user will find familiar.

CrackBerry.com's BlackBerry 101 Lecture Series

Hey Class! CrackBerry Kevin here, and welcome Back to BlackBerry 101. You might say we did the Law School thing and took a full month off between semesters, but here we are again, ready to tackle another four months worth of lectures before summer break.

To kick off the first lecture of the new year we thought it would be wise to spend a week teaching users how to actually use CrackBerry.com's site features, especially our BlackBerry Help and Discussion Forums. Our member community has been growing by leaps and bounds, and many of our potential and new members are not familiar with using an online forum to get and give help. BlackBerry 101 lectures are great - but sometimes you need to find an answer to your problem NOW and it might not be covered in one of our weekly lectures. By learning to use the CrackBerry.com site to its full potential, you can tap into our database of already-answered questions and knowledgable community of BlackBerry Addicts!

I'm sure you have heard that famous line, "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime". That's what we're doing this week, but in CrackBerry style.

Our CrackBerry.com moderator Trevor has put together a week's worth of lessons on How to Use the CrackBerry Forums, starting with the basics of registering with the site and he will add a new lecture each day this week (How To Search the Forums, Reply to Posts and Create new Threads, etc.) so be sure to visit daily. The post will remain sticked in our Tips, How-To and FAQ forum so it will be easy for new members to find at all times. Big Thanks to Trevor for putting this together - it's going to come in VERY Handy!

As for BlackBerry 101, let me know if you have any requests for lecture topics you'd like to see covered here over the weeks and months ahead. We have quite a few ideas planned, but want to make sure we're tackling the subjects you want covered! Comment on this post with your ideas!

Lecture 8: How To Use BlackBerry Messenger

CrackBerry.com's BlackBerry 101 Lecture Series

Good Morning Class! CrackBerry Kevin here and I hope you're ready for a little change up. The next three BlackBerry 101 lectures will each be conducted by a different guest professor!! Due to my participation in the Smartphone Experts 1st Annual Smartphone Round Robin, I will be without BlackBerry for the better part of a month (while I experience the AT&T Tilt, Treo 680, and Apple iPhone) and therefore will be unfit to adequately cover any BlackBerry 101 topics (since I'm not allowed to use a BlackBerry again until week four!!!).

It's going to be a tough month to get through, especially considering the non-RIM devices I'm going to use will be without BlackBerry Messenger, which is almost strictly a BlackBerry thing (non-Berry devices running BlackBerry Connect can receive BB Messenger/PIN messages - they just can't send them)! Therefore, I thought a lecture covering the Basics of BlackBerry Messenger would make a fitting topic for Lecture 8. And our guest lecturer is no stranger to the BlackBerry or to CrackBerry.com as he is one our CrackBerry Forum Moderators and has dealt on many occassions with the topic at hand... Welcome to BlackBerry 101 Trevor! Get Crack'n!
