One for all you Twitter using BlackBerry PlayBook owners. Blaq for BlackBerry PlayBook has now been updated to version 1.8.7 and while the changelog isn't exactly huge it does includes some crucial fixes to keep up with the Twitter API along with some user requested feature expansions. We've listed them below for you, in case you want to look through them.
- Twitter API 1.1 support
- Increased direct message counts
- Authentication issues when launching due to changes on Twitter's end now fixed.
- Minor cosmetic issues now fixed.
With this release accepted into BlackBerry World and now available for download, hopefully we'll start hearing some news about Blaq for BlackBerry 10 as well. For the record, that's my not so subtle way of saying it's coming.
