I didn't know I could sue Blaq using my PlayBook.
Update: Great, the spelling error was fixed in the blog so now I look like a retard...

LOL That's not why you look retarded... :P

Just got my 1st Playbook this week & i love it. Love Blaq too. Downloaded the upgrade last night but i didn't notice the bug fixes. I'll have to pay close attention to it later.
jiatern Jul 12, 2012 at 11:27 am
Everything is almost perfect now. I just need it to have instapaper support and it'll be the best client!
JSin7 Jul 12, 2012 at 11:27 am
Is it just me or does native Twitter suck? I use Ubersocial on my Torch 9810 & Blaq on my Playbook. I'm a Twitter junkie but I hate the native site & apps..lol. Oh, & feel free to follow me @JSin7 if it floats your boat.

playbook has no native twitter it's just a link. i'm guessing you're talking about the one on blackberry phones, i have the 9810 as well and i definitely like the native twitter app compared to ubersocial

Agreed.

Nice improvements, sadly being able to turn off led notifications is still missing. SO ANNOYING.
billbsb Jul 12, 2012 at 12:02 pm
Is it?! When you swipe from the top, go to settings (gear icon), on the Notifications item you can turn it off. Or is it something else?
In general, Blaq is still very good! I was experiencing some very bad scrolling of the tweet list but after I closed and reopened the app, it was smooth. Not like butter but better.
Cheers to Kisai Labs!

This is probably my favorite Playbook app...
Now I say "probably" because I think my play time on Galaxy on Fire 2 would beg to differ... (just got the 10hours of gameplay achievement...)

I kind of want to see a video of the new hardware accelerated scrolling...

With so many bug issues I wonder why this app was released since it cost money.
DJBS4LIFE Jul 12, 2012 at 3:15 pm
Blaq is garbage! Why the hell don't we have a good Twitter app yet? I have to use my sideloaded Tweetcaster and it freezes because the OS, especially the Android player needs to be updated BIG TIME. I have to use Lemma for Twitter and that's like the best one!

Shut up. People like you are annoying. Do you realize that there is one dev working his ass off making this app? Go get a talent other than being a moron!
Trelaina Jul 12, 2012 at 5:59 pm
Looking forward to this update. Is the actual "compose a tweet" box improved at all? That's been a big annoyance for me, trying to compose something in that tiny little box!!!
jcarty Jul 12, 2012 at 6:58 pm
Since 1.8, you can increase the font size, if needed.
Cafeina Jul 12, 2012 at 9:14 pm
It's at 1.8.3 now. Two updates in one day.

Love the UI, but REALTIME streaming still not working :( What's the tweets refresh time/rate?
jcarty Jul 12, 2012 at 11:05 pm
Make sure the real-time indicator (bottom right) is lit. If not, tap it once to enable it.
freya09 Jul 13, 2012 at 2:18 am
Real time indicator already lit up when I start the app. How often does it check for new tweets?
jamesharmeling Jul 14, 2012 at 8:12 pm
Since the latest update, my time line hasn't updated. I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling, but it's still stuck on the last tweet I saw before updating a few days ago. :(
jhimmel Jul 23, 2012 at 6:33 pm
Mine's not updating either. Real Time is lit - but not working.
