The BlackBerry Z30 has already launched in some international markets and hits Canadian shelves on October 15th. On the surface, it comes across simply as a bigger version of the BlackBerry Z10, but there’s quite a bit more to it. Rear stereo speakers introduce high-quality sound, new antenna...

BlackBerry Z30 returns to the Verizon Wireless site
If you're a Verizon customer who has been on the hunt for a BlackBerry Z30, you might have noticed the device disappeared from the carriers website for pretty much three months. Many said it was on backorder, many said production on it had stopped, many said Verizon just simply decided to stop carrying it and while we might never know the full reason for its disappearance, we can now say it has returned and is available for purchase.
As a longtime BlackBerry addict and gadget lover in general, it's pretty rare (read: never) that I feel envious of another person's tech collection. That said, I just had one of those moments where I felt true envy.
The photo above was just tweeted to me by Barry Lapthorne, who in addition to his trusty BlackBerry Z30 is rock'n ALL of the latest and yet to be released BlackBerry 10 phones (Z3 excluded). He has the just-announced BlackBerry Passport, in white no less; the also-brand-new Porsche Design P'9983; and he even has the yet to be released BlackBerry Classic. I've never seen these four devices lined up like this before, so just had to immediately share the photo with CrackBerry Nation.
I'm drooling. Consider me envious, Barry. Nice collection!

Now Dan is back with another look at the Z30, this time following the big upgrade to OS 10.2.1, which introduced even more features for Dan to play with, not the least of which is the ability to run Android apps.

What happens when you take an iPhone user's iPhone away for 7 days and replace it with a BlackBerry Z30?
That's the question Dan Nessel, the founder of DadDoes.com and big iPhone fan was willing to answer.
The folks at BlackBerry asked if I would do a 7 Day Challenge. Swap out my iPhone 5 for a BlackBerry Z30 for 7 days and just honestly report on how it went. Honestly, I thought this was going to be a train wreck for BlackBerry. I love my iPhone and all I really knew about BlackBerry was that they were that company that made those phones with little keyboards. Still, I figured a week without my iPhone would make me appreciate it even more.

Want a BlackBerry Z30 from AT&T? Sign this petition and let them know!
I love it when the BlackBerry community takes action, and that's exactly what's happening this week. Nick Cooper (@Nickc1307 on the twitters) wants to buy a BlackBerry Z30 from his carrier, AT&T.
Of course, AT&T is not currently selling the BlackBerry Z30. To date, the 5" touchscreen BlackBerry 10 phone has been a Verizon exclusive and there has been no real indication that is going to change anytime soon.
So while it may not help, it certainly won't hurt to let them know you'd love to see the Z30 come to AT&T too. Be sure to jump over to petitions24 at the link below and sign the petition. Let's do this!
Covering CES with the proper gear is hard enough as we know from our own #CESlive coverage, doing it from only smartphone? That's kinda crazy. No matter though, the folks at WIRED were doing it and with CES quickly coming to a close, WIRED has done their due diligence and posted up who exactly came out on top in their Smartphone Thunderdome.
But what about the BlackBerry virtual keyboard? BlackBerry is looking to prove it is with a new video showing off some competitor comparisons. In this case, it happens to word prediction on the BlackBerry Z30 vs. the iPhone 5S. You won't really need to guess who wins but hey, check out the video anyway. It's pretty cool!

BlackBerry Z30 with AT&T bands heads through FCC
Verizon is holding onto the "exclusive" tag on the BlackBerry Z30 at the moment, but if the FCC tells us anything, that might all change soon. Forums member LutherSnow74 spotted a new device heading through the FCC -- and it looks to be a Z30 model with AT&T bands.

The best BlackBerry you can buy right now
Let's face it. The selection of BlackBerry devices isn't huge in comparison to the likes of Android -- but there are still a few different options depending on your needs. When we break things down, for the most part all the devices are sporting the same OS (or at least they can be, depending on your carrier) so you don't really have to base your choice off software, which is nice. What you do need to decide however is what you're willing to spend and how you'll be using your device. Are you straight up messaging or do you watch movies often? Play games or stick to social apps? Some of these will influence what device you go with, though you'll be able to do all of them on any BlackBerry you choose.
Let's take a quick look at the best BlackBerry you can buy right now in a few different categories.

Carphone Warehouse in the UK drop the price of the BlackBerry Z30
It was only very recently that we told you that the Z10 price had been cut at UK retailer Carphone Warehouse. It seems that they are now following suit with the monster Z30, although the prices are not quite as attractive as with the Z10 - but that makes perfect sense.

BlackBerry Z30 available from Verizon Wireless November 14th for $199
Those of you that have been impatiently refreshing Verizon's site waiting for the Z30, the news in finally in. The BlackBerry Z30 will be available from Verizon Wireless starting November 14th.
The news notes that the Z30 will be available online, but no word if it will be arriving in stores the same day as well. We'd assume that it would show up on shelves as some point, but it could very well carry an online only tag for a while.
When it comes to cases, I have a love-hate relationship with them. I do feel like I need to protect them from accidental drops (which I am prone to doing) but there are always times I prefer the naked feel of the device, especially when the device offers some nice aesthetics, such as the BlackBerry Q10. Now that I have the BlackBerry Z30, I feel the same, since the back cover is made from the...
The pricing for the TELUS BlackBerry Z30 has been revealed thanks to a leaked internal doc. Much in the line of other carriers, the Z30 will run you $129 on a 2-year term from TELUS. Good news for those of you looking to buy one off contract as well as the TELUS model will fetch $650 - a full $50 less than that of Bell.
Keep in mind these prices aren't set in stone though they do look to be...
For those that missed my BlackBerry Z30 review, or skipped over the video when reading it, take a look! I used a dolly and voice-overs and background music and everything. It's pretty fancy. Okay, so I messed up at a few points when reading, but you get an overall feeling for the size of the device, how it smoothly it runs, and the big features: namely big screen, big sound, and big battery. ...

Lewis Hamilton is again showing some BlackBerry love, this time showing off the new BlackBerry Z30. Lewis has been a great proponent of BlackBerry having used both the Z10 and Q10, and now it looks like the Z30 will have a home in his pocket.

Battery life is a bone of contention with any modern day smartphone. As screen displays have got bigger and more power hungry, gone are the days of a phone battery lasting more than a couple of days - even with light usage. The good news for new owners of the BlackBerry Z30 is that is is packing a whopping 2880 mAp battery - the biggest in any BlackBerry to date. Since I've been using the Z30,...
When it was announced that Rogers would not be carrying the latest device from BlackBerry, the BlackBerry Z30, a lot of folks were understandably upset over the matter. The comments filled up on the Rogers Facebook account, their Twitter account mentions were a mess and even other carriers such as Bell and TELUS got in the mix by letting Rogers customers know they would be offering the device. ...

Using voice control is certainly nothing new for BlackBerry 10 users. However, if you have just picked up the BlackBerry Z30 as your first BB10 device you'll be pleased to know that you can perform a range of tasks using voice control.
I'll be totally honest and say that the voice control functions on the Z30 are certainly not on par with the likes of the iPhone or Android, but us BlackBerry...
I have been using the BlackBerry Z30 as my main device for a little over a week now and I must say I am enjoying the device a lot. I was actually pretty content with my BlackBerry Q10 and the physical keyboard and you'll know that I'm more of a QWERTY lover than a touchscreen one. However, my experience so far has been a positive one. We do have a full review coming but I wanted to give you a...
