Our BlackBerry hating friend J_Caloy is back with another video, only this time he isn't hating on BlackBerry — he's putting it up to a test of might against other devices. What happens when you take an iPhone user's iPhone away for 7 days and replace it with a BlackBerry Z30?
That's the question Dan Nessel, the founder of DadDoes.com and big iPhone fan was willing to answer.
The folks at BlackBerry asked if I would do a 7 Day Challenge. Swap out my iPhone 5 for a BlackBerry Z30 for 7 days and just honestly report on how it went. Honestly, I thought this was going to be a train wreck for BlackBerry. I love my iPhone and all I really knew about BlackBerry was that they were that company that made those phones with little keyboards. Still, I figured a week without my iPhone would make me appreciate it even more.

Want a BlackBerry Z30 from AT&T? Sign this petition and let them know!
I love it when the BlackBerry community takes action, and that's exactly what's happening this week. Nick Cooper (@Nickc1307 on the twitters) wants to buy a BlackBerry Z30 from his carrier, AT&T.
Of course, AT&T is not currently selling the BlackBerry Z30. To date, the 5" touchscreen BlackBerry 10 phone has been a Verizon exclusive and there has been no real indication that is going to change anytime soon.
So while it may not help, it certainly won't hurt to let them know you'd love to see the Z30 come to AT&T too. Be sure to jump over to petitions24 at the link below and sign the petition. Let's do this!
Covering CES with the proper gear is hard enough as we know from our own #CESlive coverage, doing it from only smartphone? That's kinda crazy. No matter though, the folks at WIRED were doing it and with CES quickly coming to a close, WIRED has done their due diligence and posted up who exactly came out on top in their Smartphone Thunderdome.
But what about the BlackBerry virtual keyboard? BlackBerry is looking to prove it is with a new video showing off some competitor comparisons. In this case, it happens to word prediction on the BlackBerry Z30 vs. the iPhone 5S. You won't really need to guess who wins but hey, check out the video anyway. It's pretty cool!

BlackBerry Z30 with AT&T bands heads through FCC
Verizon is holding onto the "exclusive" tag on the BlackBerry Z30 at the moment, but if the FCC tells us anything, that might all change soon. Forums member LutherSnow74 spotted a new device heading through the FCC -- and it looks to be a Z30 model with AT&T bands.

The best BlackBerry you can buy right now
Let's face it. The selection of BlackBerry devices isn't huge in comparison to the likes of Android -- but there are still a few different options depending on your needs. When we break things down, for the most part all the devices are sporting the same OS (or at least they can be, depending on your carrier) so you don't really have to base your choice off software, which is nice. What you do need to decide however is what you're willing to spend and how you'll be using your device. Are you straight up messaging or do you watch movies often? Play games or stick to social apps? Some of these will influence what device you go with, though you'll be able to do all of them on any BlackBerry you choose.
Let's take a quick look at the best BlackBerry you can buy right now in a few different categories.

The Z30 is exclusive to Verizon so if you're in the US you may not see it hit other carriers anytime soon, if at all.

Carphone Warehouse in the UK drop the price of the BlackBerry Z30
It was only very recently that we told you that the Z10 price had been cut at UK retailer Carphone Warehouse. It seems that they are now following suit with the monster Z30, although the prices are not quite as attractive as with the Z10 - but that makes perfect sense.

BlackBerry Z30 available from Verizon Wireless November 14th for $199
Those of you that have been impatiently refreshing Verizon's site waiting for the Z30, the news in finally in. The BlackBerry Z30 will be available from Verizon Wireless starting November 14th.
The news notes that the Z30 will be available online, but no word if it will be arriving in stores the same day as well. We'd assume that it would show up on shelves as some point, but it could very well carry an online only tag for a while.

BlackBerry Z30 now available online from Rogers
If you're a Rogers customer and have been waiting ever so patiently for the BlackBerry Z30 to become available, have at it. Rogers is now offering up the Z30 online for just $179 on a 2-year term or $599 month-to-month. The devices are already shipping, but nothing else fancy to see here - the model is standard and will ship free.
Verizon dropped word on Twitter today that the Z30 will be coming in November but still no exact date -- so it does leave the gap open for the time being. The Z30 will run $199 on a two-year contract and is a Verizon exclusive. We're not sure if that's "exclusive forever" or just "exclusive for now" so we'll do some more digging.

Just a few days ago it was revealed that the rumored BlackBerry A10 will most likely be released as the BlackBerry Z30. A few more photos of the BlackBerry Z30 were sent into us today on the good 'ol CrackBerry tip line, this time showing off the Z30 side-by-side with the Z10 and Q5. The images don't really show us anything new but they do help to give a bit of scale when put next to the other...
With BlackBerry OS 10.2.0.1047 having leaked out, I took it upon myself to go digging through the OS to see what other goodies I could find within. Lo and behold, I found the full BlackBerry 10 tutorial demo for the BlackBerry Z30 packaged up inside and ready for viewing. This is of course, the same spot where the BlackBerry Z30 name information came from but alas, I thought you'd all enjoy...
As I mentioned in the post with the BlackBerry Z30 naming findings, the retail demo information has been found in a recent OS and unlike a short while ago where all they had was placeholder images, BlackBerry now has what appears to be a full set of tutorial videos for the device more commonly known as the A10, A-Series and Aristo.
With the videos now appearing, that means the OS is getting...
Over the course of the last few OS leaks, there has been more and more information popping up about future BlackBerry 10 devices that may be hitting the market. The last time we saw an A-Series device, it was marked as the Z00 and that was presumed to be a placeholder but indicative of the fact that BlackBerry, at the very least, had plans to make it part of the Z-Series when officially launched...
Just in case the hands-on video wasn't enough for you, Tinhte has also taken plenty of pics of the BlackBerry A10 as well for us all to drool over. Front, back, sides, we get the whole kit and kaboodle with this one.
I'm already sold on the BlackBerry A10 so no need to convince me but you all can sound off in the comments with your thoughts, now that we're getting a better look at the next...
I'm going to go with the old cliché here. When it rains, it pours and such is the case with the BlackBerry A10. We've seen plenty of images of the device, some video and now we're getting a hands-on look at the device thanks to Tinhte.
Go ahead, sit back and watch the video. Keep in mind, we know what we're looking at here is indeed NOT final hardware as indicated by the markings on the device...
The BlackBerry A10 has once again been caught on camera. Twitter user @nvthanh1994 dropped a few images of a shiny new A10 earlier today and while it's nothing new, we still love to see new photos of unreleased devices.
Here we get a good look at the front of the A10 as well as a not so good look at the back. What is noticeable however is that the back of the device seems to be a bit more...
Holy A10! More and more BlackBerry A10 info is floating down the pipeline, and now a hot new slide had leaked in the CrackBerry forums that gives us a better look at just what the A10 might have in store. The slide is from back in May so take it for what it's worth, but it does give us a load of info about the upcoming A-series device nonetheless.
We've heard mixed things thus far so we're not...
It's BlackBerry A10 galore! Today some more photos of the A10 battery door have shown up and are much more fun than the last batch. This time the photos are hi-res and show off not only the battery door of the BlackBerry A10, but also compare it to the Z10 and Q10 doors for a bit of comparison.
Even though we've now seen the A10 on video, the photos once again show the battery door with AT...
A few days ago while digging through a BlackBerry 10.2 OS I came across some placeholder images for the A-Series devices. They weren't anything special by any means but at the time I had speculated we'd be seeing plenty more of the device soon. Well, since then we've actually seen a lot more than even I was expecting, including the first spotting of the device and what potentially could be the...
