So you've just picked up a new BlackBerry Z30 but aren't quite sure where to start? Not to worry - we've got some great help articles to get you up and running. No matter if you're a seasoned vet or new to BlackBerry, you'll be able to get your Z30 set up and going strong in just a few minutes.

There are plenty of things you can do with your Z30 beyond what you'll find here, but lets go over a few of the basics to get you started.

Keep in mind that some of these help posts are geared toward other devices like the Z10 or Q10, but since they all run the same software you can apply them to the Z30 as well.

Setting Up

Out of the box you'll want to get logged into your accounts, set up your wallpaper and get your security measures in place. From there you can dive deeper into arranging your icons and other things to make your device your own.

How to setup accounts on your BlackBerry Z30
How to change the wallpaper on your BlackBerry Z30
How to change notification profiles on the BlackBerry Z30
How to set custom notifications for contacts on BlackBerry 10

App Me!

After you get setup with the basics, you can look to do even more. Your new Z30 is a powerful tool that goes above and beyond what you see out of the box. You can load up all kinds of great apps and games as well. While BlackBerry World is full of great applications, we've done the hard work of weeding out the best of the best and put them all into our CrackBerry App Gallery. Here you'll find the top BlackBerry 10 apps as chosen by our editors and readers.

Getting started with the BlackBerry Z30

Uh... it's out already for a cool $695 on Amazon USA.

I'm not going to spend 700... that's nuts... I'll wait till its official here and get on contract or sell my Z for one

Nah. I'm a prosumer.

If you want someone to market this device than you'd likely want to speak with someone at RIM. CB Fanbois can only purchase so many devices.

Or did you want CB Fanbois to recommend this to their network? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. And BB4all? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Or the PlayBook? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha or harass Instagram and Netflix? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Do your job RIM marketing manager(s) ...

If you want 10.2 basicly blackberry says go to a shop and spend 700. if this phone is released 10.2 should be too I want it already :(

pre-ordered 2 of this beauty. ..even if I don't know the price yet..

Posted with my Z10 or Q10! ..or on my Z30..soon. ;)

I think I have an issue, I absolutely love my Q10 but I really want to try the Z30. Is it a true addiction that makes me feel this way?

Posted via Q10

Ya right. Can't afford the rip off contract price. Would have picked up a off contract one but here in the uk it is £480!!!??

Hey Adam
The "How to set up accounts" section should be updated -- specifically for Gmail, since the free Gmaill accounts can't use EAS. One comprehensive How To referencing IMAP/CalDAV/CarDAV would be great . I'd also suggest adding in the piece about how to make deleted items go to trash instead of being archived. (I'll find the link for you if you're interested.)

Second the requests. Which Z30 model will work with AT&T LTE? Can anyone list the bands that these models are using? Anyone from the CrackBerry team out there with this information? Thanks!

My local bell store already had the Z30 in stock last Friday. Had a chance to hold it in my hand. It's beautiful device. Makes my Z10 feel archaic. Will be getting it tomorrow when they start selling it.

Talking about z30....where is the 10.2 update? where is BBM for Android and IOs...applications?..... where???

Post by Z10

10.2 for most carriers by the end of the month, XBBM supposedly within days. Speculation is 18th.

I checked 5 Canadian stores today and not one had stock or were not even awaiting stock. Shame the retailers aren't supporting it already. My colleague jumped to an iPhone as a result of the short supply.

Bell store in Kitchener (Sunrise Centre) has them. The dude behind the counter tried to sell me one. Pretty nice phone!

Posted via CB10

I went to Bell today to play with the Z30, sad they didn't have a live demo Z30! But nice to see it on display!

Posted via CB10

I saw a demo Z30 at our local Bell (London, ON) store at lunch time. The size feels good. The only thing that worries me is the painted silver chin. I saw an earlier photo somewhere, where a Z30 had a paint chip. Too bad it wasn't black like the Z10.

Such a great device! Owning one since Sunday and very happy with it. Battery lasts clearly a full day. Buy one and you want regret. I have a z10 and a Q10 but the z30 surpasses by far any. Really happy for the USD 680 spent on it (don't tell my wife...)

Posted via CB10

Two of my buddies just picked up the Z30 and are blown away by it.... I may have to say good bye to my z10...

Posted via CB10

Though the website does not indicate it (no surprises here), the SaskTel tech twitter support indicates that they are carrying them starting today. I personally have not confirmed the availability at stores though.

I just upgraded my Zed10 today for a Zed30 (Kids will be getting the Zed10 for Christmas). Oh and the Zed30 looks, feels and works awesome! I thought the Zed10 was the perfect size, which I still do but the Zed30 just makes everything seem just that better now..

Is it safe to assume that any apps I have on my Z10 will work on my Z30?

Posted Via CB10 with my Z10

I will be ordering mine come Friday or Saturday this week. Then I have to wait for it to actually ship out... this is going to be a very long wait for me.

Had chances to play around with Z30 last week..

Great device :). Found the os version is slightly lower than a leaked version.

Any idea with the release 10.2 ver soon?

Posted via CB10

The display looks crisp to me, no sign of pixelation at all! Thought it sucked after all the hype about low ppi!

Posted via CB10

Stop it. I gotta love my Z10 (really not to much of a problem with that anyways) for another year or two before I can enjoy this monstrous bliss!

Posted via CB10

Finally using my Z30!!! Next couple days are going to be fantastic. Collection is complete! All four BlackBerry 10 devices "first" devices!!! Couldn't be happier...

Posted via CB10

Oh boy, what to do, what to do....spoke to Telus Loyalty department, and they gave me a great deal to upgrade from my Z10 to a Z30. They will buy back my Z10 (and put it against my balance owing) and also gave me a huge reduction on the amount owing on my Z10, which only leaves under $100 owing, instead of the $400 I still had (considering I've only had my contract/Z10 for 9 months). I could be holding a Z30 tonight!!! What to do, what to do???

Finding the browser slower on the 30 vs 10. I remember Simon mentioning this and now I agree. Hrmph
