Ultimate Twitter Client Roundup Part 5: Twixtreme
The next stop in our Ultimate Twitter Client Roundup is Twixtreme from Xtreme Labs. Twixtreme hasn't been around all that long, but more and more users are picking it up and seem to be happy with the interface and features. It doesn't have the full-blown features of some older clients (or nearly as many options) but it does have a great look and some cool animations. The guys at Extreme Labs are still hacking away and sneaking in some updates, so I'd say Twixtreme will stick around for a while, although it may not be everyone's first choice for a BlackBerry Twitter Client. Check out the video for a quick walkthrough.

That is probably one of the faster twitter apps I've seen around - Very quick from screen to screen and pulling updates.

Before the new UberTwitter came out, I was using this one and I loved it. Except for the fact that it doesn't have any sound notifications and it only uses Twitpic for uploading pics, this app is awesome. It's one of the best out right now. :)

I use this app but it does run slow on my 8330.
I now use uber, but may give this a second go around....

Does anyone else find that this SMASHES through their battery?
When I finally jumped on the Twitter bandwagon a few days ago, I installed this application on my Blackberry Bold 9000 and loved it, in fact, this is the sort of application that could actually convince me to keep using Twitter (I'm only trailing it out at the moment, to see what all the fuss is about...)!
The problem is, the day after installing it, my battery was down to less than half by 1200 (off the charger at about 0730); by 1330, it was down to less than 30% and by 1600 it was completely flat... And I barely even used my device that day!

Really? Wow. I mean, it kinda did on my 8100, but not on my 9700 now. I had it until a couple of months ago and it was great. Didn't eat up my battery too much. And I'm usually on a lot with that and checking email and all that stuff.

I really prefer Twixtreme than Übertwitter, being using it since August 2009.
