Pure by Themerzz

First up this week is a theme that warrants no introduction. If there is one thing you can rely on from Themerzz, it’s those sharp lines and delicate touches that make it a solid offering your compatible handset. Not only does this bring out the best in your BlackBerry’s display, but it is clean, balanced, and each element has its own place without overpowering one another. For those seeking a little bit of customization in their home screen, fret not. With a simple press of a button, select hotkeys change the clock banner color so as not to clash with your favorite wallpapers.  Between the color scheme and a dedicated weather slot that can be hidden, it is sure to earn a spot on your rotation. Please note that icons in folders will not show on OS 7 decices. This lovely design is $1.99 and available for BlackBerry 8350i, 8520/30, 8900/10/80, 9220, 9300/10/15/20/30/50/60/70/80, 9620/30/50, 9700/20/80/88/90, 9800/10/50/60, and 9900/30/81 running OS 5 and higher.

Fluffy BeaR by MoNoKuRiN ThemeS

There is no better place to discover new and interesting themes than in the forums. Perusing through them this past week, I discovered this simplistic and adorable design. As the saying goes, less is more, and only minor changes have been made to give it a vintage look and feel. This semi-monochromatic design offers a redesigned top banner, custom fonts and battery and signal meters, their signature icon set, new notification icons, and that adorable teddy bear present in all of the backgrounds. It is compatible with BlackBerry 8330, 8520/30, 8900/10, 9220, 9300/10/15/20/30/50/60/70/80, 9620/30/50, 9700/20/80/88/90, 9800/10/50/60, and 9900/30/81 running OS 5 and higher. You can purchase it for $0.99.

Pink Lazy Cat by MMMOOO

I am always amazed by the inventive ways in which MMMOOO continues to entertain us. They have certainly come up with a cute theme to grace your display. Speaking of which, the pink cat takes up the entire real estate of your home screen. It features a hidden dock (non OS 7 devices), cute cartoon icons, five hearts that represent battery volume, a fishbowl profile icon, and customized call screens. I must say this will put a smile on your face each time you take a glance. There are two versions of this theme available to download: a free one that only comes with five cartoon application icons, and the premium one for $2.99 with the complete set. Be sure to check it out at the link below. It supports most devices running OS 4.6 and higher.

Angel Star by CindyCF

When it comes to choosing a theme, I love being struck by surprise. In this case, this quite original design caught my eye while going through BlackBerry World. This design is filled with all sorts of graphical delights theme lovers will enjoy. From the intricately designed icons, notifications, and wallpapers, to the custom fonts and redesigned top banner this is a stunning theme I can’t look away from. If you fancy a fantasy theme such as this, navigate to the link below and grab it for $1.99. As a warning, due to the level of customization, it does have that icon issue in folder for OS 7 devices.  It is available for BlackBerry 8520/30, 8900, 9000, 9220, 9300/10/20/30/50/60/80, 9650, 9700/80/90, 9800/10/50/60, and 9900/81 running OS 5 and higher.

Alienware by Pixel Dreems

As a science fiction fan this is quite a delightful design. What makes it stand out is UFO wallpapers, the uniqe application icon arrangement on the home screen, the color scheme, custom icon set, sharp blue highlights, and those easy to read fonts. If you like themes that are out of this world then be sure to pick it up for $0.99. It supports BlackBerry 8350i, 8520/20, 8900/10/80, 9000, 9220, 9300/10/20/50/60/80, 9650, 9700/80/90, 9800/10/50/60, and 9900/81 running OS 4.6 and higher.

No BB10. Alienware did not say it is not compatible with the device until you log in with your blackberry ID. Unfortunate.

BlackBerry doesn't make themes. Theme developers make themes. Check BlackBerry World, you may be surprised. :)
