Happy Tuesday to our loyal theme junkies. We have spent the last week sorting through the emails we have received, and have a stellar lineup of both free, and paid themes. After last week's overdose of pink, we have banished the girly colors from this weeks selection to balance things out (although we did delve into the giftable theme Valentino for that special someone). Free Themes of the Week
Non-Touchscreen
Our Top free non-touchscreen theme is Reverie D by forums member dagobah30. The theme is minimal and "takes a backseat" to your wallpaper. The theme comes in multiple variations and includes such key features as weather slot, Hidden Today, Quciklaunch/ShortcutMe integration (they are not included), clickable/toggle-able bottom bar, and user customizable icons. Overall this is a very simple yet functional theme. Reverie D is free via the threads linked below, donations are welcome.
Touchscreen
We recently came across a very nice series of free Storm themes in the forums. Glasklart Storm by forums member zcyclist is available in 3 different versions: Glasklart5 (5 homescreen icons with hidden today), Glasklart10 (10 homescreen icons with hidden today) and GlasklartLandscape (10 homescreen icons, 5 docked on each side). All 3 versions feature the same natural wallpaper, homescreen hotspots, and custom icons. If your looking for a professional, free theme to dress up your Storm, one of Glasklart's 3 versions will suit you.
Paid Themes of the Week
Non-Touchscreen
Our top paid theme pick for non-toucscreen devices goes to Animated Space Theme by blue solutions inc. I am a big fan of minimalist themes. I absolutely hate too much clutter on my homescreen, preferring a clean look to tons of icons. The Animated Space Theme strips away all the icons from my homescreen, leaving me with a great view of the wallpaper. The wallpaper is an animated spinning globe in space, which adds a touch of flair to an otherwise simple theme. The theme includes hidden icons for profiles, clock, and manage connections allowing you to retain function while adding a great clean look to your BlackBerry. Its available for $3.99 for the Tour, 8900, 9700, and Storm devices.
Touchscreen
BB NightBlue by BB Themes Unlimited brings a sleek, classy look to your Storm 95xx device. The theme features custom icons, graphics, and transitions that go very well together throughout the entire theme. You can set 6 of your favorite apps to the homescreen which are raised above the bottom area that is used for notifications. If you would like a dark, classy look on your Storm, we definitely would recommend this. BB NightBlue is available for $4.95 at the Crackbberry App Store. They also support this theme for most other non-touchscreen devices.
Bonus Theme
Valentino Giftable PrimeTheme by DreamTheme does something another theme you can grab just in time for Valentine's Day. They do it a little different though. When purchasing this theme, you receive one theme for you, and another at no charge for that special someone in your life.
