Either there were no developers at BBW or there isn't any ground breaking news or release updated...otherwise it should have been reported by now.

Regardless, any information about the Tablet OS NDK is better than none...maybe it can put to rest QNX's virtualization abilities for Android player/BB player that everyone is worried about (with no clear basis at all).

There was alredy an article out of Blackberry World about the Android virtualization.

- Is it not an emulator
- It is not the native Google Dalvik VM
- It is a modified version of Dalvik that is running as a server on the QNX kernel
- It supports native android applications
- It has access to cameras, wifi, sandboxed disk space, GPS, and accelerometers
- It will not support low-level C/C++ code designed for android. (these apps will not run)
- the server runs sandboxed in protected area to prevent the threats of android viruses/trojans or the like accessing other areas of the playbook
- swipe gestures have been designed to replace hard-keys
- the back-button from android is a soft-button on the top right corner of the screen
