Shortly after posting our review of the BlackBerry Storm 2 and Vodafone and RIM's Press Release, the above was posted to the Vodafone UK website. Anyone in the UK looking to get their hands on a BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 can now get a jump on the rest of the world by placing their pre orders through Vodafone. Prices while not listed are determined by the tariff in which you sign up but Vodafone makes no bones about letting you know you can get it all for free you take a £35/mnth plan. Live in the UK? Have you placed your order yet? Expected delivery of pre ordered devices is set for October 26th, rolling into November depending on orders placed.

Am I getting this wrong, but on the specifications page for the Storm 2 it clearly states that:
Wifi supported x
What does that mean...no wifi on the UK version? That is crazy and unfair. Maybe I have read it wrong.
it states wifi is supported in the VF site, it's under Specifications > Data Support and Connectivity
I said that in the forums but some don't know how to read and just call names to show their age....
As a Storm 1 user I have just been told by Vodafone Ireland (storm carrier) Customer Support that they have no plans to release any new blackberry's this year including the Storm 2. They said the newest phone they will be pushing this side of christmas will be their own Vodafone 360 Touchscreen phone !! WTF !!!! So basically Irish customers will have no chance of getting the New Storm2 9520. What a load of Boll*x :(
hell, who wants a 2 year contract theses days...where is the flexibility????
You know ... I have been so excited about the RIM 9550 ... but if they keep dicking around about it, and teasing us, I think I will just go with the Motorola Droid... I have forsaken other companies' products for less than this. They could at least be "UP FRONT" with their customer base about availability and a CLOSE APPROXIMATION of a Release Date for Verizon! What's with all this mysterious crap?
I see that the specs page has chaned layout since I last read it....trust me I wasn't trying to ask stupid!
