It would be cool if bilbylight could use the phones built in flash as a flashlight. But just opening Video Capture can work for that anyway.

I've tried a lot of visual voice mail and this is the first that seems to be working well. Just need to be able to jack up the volume even more for those people that leave messages but mumble or speak too soft.

Other than that it works great. I get an email notification of the voicemail from youmail, and then I just go to the vymail app and click sync and there is my visual voice mail! Nice looking UI too. The only issue I have so far is the need to be able to raise the volume even more for when using speakerphone mode.

Thank you for this free app!!!!

This will be perfect companion to GPS programs to keep your screen lit up for turn by turn directions. I look forward to trying it this week with VZNavigator.

"...it's been roughly -40 (Celsius) up here."

Ironically, -40 is the only temperature where you don't need to specify Celsius or Fahrenheit -- it's the same on both scales.

I have the pearl with VZW. The number they provide to forward your voicemail, if you use the * it forwards the call to AT&T; if you use # it doesn't allow the phone to ring before being forwarded to voicemail. I trying to figure out how to make it work because I really want this app, and need it! I'm one of those where I let the voicemail holding limit before I call to clear all of them out. If you know how to make it work, I'll call ears and thumbs! :þ

I have the Pearl on Verzion and I've been using Youmail for months without any issues. It's been so long that I don't remember, but I just followed the instructions and it worked first time. The phone definitely rings about 4 times, then goes to YouMail for voicemail.

If you don't want to pay $3 for StormLock, you may want to checkout Cell Avant's free Talk Lock.
