The 2016 edition of the BlackBerry Security Summit has been confirmed (it was a save the date previously) and will be held on July 19 in at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.
In a blog post, BlackBerry stated that CEO John Chen, COO Marty Beard, and CSO David Kleidermacher are scheduled to attend, along with more company executives. It will also feature unnamed "industry experts, customer speakers, and partners.":
Our four breakout sessions will focus on mobile strategy, security and platforms, as well as the connected car (our QNX platform and acoustics software is the acknowledged market leader in this space, used in more than 60 million cars).
CrackBerry will be attending the 2016 BlackBerry Security Summit and will have first-hands reports of what the company will be revealing at the event.
