BlackBerry is rolling out an updated version of Twitter for legacy devices running OS 5 and higher. The update includes many features that Beta Zone member have been testing out for a while now and has been deemed ready for prime time. In addition to UI enhancements, Twitter 4.2 features additional timeline details and favorite/retweet indicators.
Image Viewing Enhancements – Twitter version 4.2 now offers photo card support so tweets can show more pictures than ever before.
Retweet/Favorite Indicators – The latest Twitter update makes it easier for you to see what you’ve selected as a favorite or retweeted in your timeline. Tweets are now color marked in the top right hand corner of the Tweet.
Additional Timeline Details - With Twitter version 4.2, visual indicators are now displayed so you can see more information in your timeline like who replied, their location, and if an article summary is available.
Similar Profile Suggestions – Twitter version 4.2 offers similar profile suggestions so you can discover even more fascinating people when you view profiles. Under the profile tab, the app showcases other accounts to follow based on the person’s profile that you’re currently viewing.
