When in All Episodes, you can now choose to Play All.

Did you have the link to "media home" before? I'm surprised there's even a button more in a 0.0.0.03 difference...

Its still US and Canada only. It came installed on my Torch, but does it work...does it hell. Stuff like this really pisses people off.

Looks like tour owners get some love and don't have the file size limits when downloading over carrier instead of wifi.
cdook Oct 19, 2010 at 9:12 pm
Are you sure about that? What carrier are you on? I just tried on Verizon and I'm getting the too large to download over a mible network message.

I am on US Cellular. When I tried the BB PodCast app when it was first released, I got the same error on every podcast that wasn't from RIM. Downloading Crackberry podcasts was completely impossible! It works great now though.

D'oh I noticed after I posted that I had downloaded the old version. After upgrading the app it looks like the limit has been removed for me too. Yay! Can't wait to play with this :).

I have a Bold 9700 and the limit was gone like 2 or 3 weeks ago on the old version. I love it, cause sometimes I'm at work (no WiFi) and a new episode comes out and I don't have to wait to get home to download and listen.

I still prefer PodTrapper.
vw1 Oct 19, 2010 at 8:28 pm
Cool, this is one of my top 5 favorite apps. I will check it out!
chevrolet.racing252 Oct 19, 2010 at 8:38 pm
PodTrapper is better, no doubt, but as long as I can figure out how to get lex and terry podcast, I am good with a freebie.

Need a Delete Prior option
Also, need to be able to select how many episodes to keep on a per channel basis, not just on a global basis.
swamp_water Oct 20, 2010 at 10:01 am
I agree. These two things are essential. It would also be nice to be able to refresh everything and also Mark all as read.

Already had this update preloaded on my torch :(
I always look forward to updates.

Worst podcast app ever. Horrible interface. It's a pain to find podcasts even popular ones like those on TWIT, even by searching.
RIM really has to fix this app and I doubt this version will fix anything.
Don't get me started on their RSS reader either. Where the fuck is Viigo on OS 6?
synwars Oct 20, 2010 at 12:09 pm
If you think the BB Podcast App is the worst ever, you haven't tried the Ultra Podcast Player. The BB version is a dream in comparison.

Still not working in the UK. What use is a podcast app that you can't add podcasts to or download through. Pathetic. Might as well have left it off the UK version altogether as our version does nothing the media player doesn't do.
swamp_water Oct 20, 2010 at 10:02 am
It's not RIM's fault you live on the wrong continent!
scaglifr Oct 20, 2010 at 10:17 am
It worked fine in the UK until RIM pulled it ! No-one has come forward and answered the question as to why and when are they going to re-enable it.

Hey everyone, it may not be like anything else you listen to, but check out my podcast Howell Creek Radio here: http://jdueck.net/radio
howellass Oct 20, 2010 at 1:12 pm
I will not do that.

Downloaded and I'm waiting to test it out.
I really like this app...especially being able to download over wifi only. My only small gripe: I wish you could set your download preferences by podcast. I have few weekly podcasts that I wouldn't have an issue with dl-ing wifi only..while charging. However, I have a daily that comes out every morning. It would be handy to set dl-options by podcast.
I like the ability to add my own podcasts via the URL. Although, if you read the reviews on appworld, people can't figure that out.
I've tried other apps, nothing comes close. The fact that you download right to your card is huge, no more streaming and dealing with signal drop or "buffering' in viigo.
bacon.jay Oct 20, 2010 at 4:59 pm
I wish they'd get rid of the damn channel subscription limit. I have 15 on my Podcast App, but it only lets me subscribe to and automatically update/DL about 9 channels at a time.
wulfjr Oct 20, 2010 at 10:15 pm
Could never get it to work for me. Kept getting error messages about needing to be on wifi. And still wouldnt download when i WAS on wifi.
