I bought my tablet because I wanted a compact media device to use during my deployment (music, movies, pictures etc.). Since I have been in country I have used my playbook for all of the above plus I downloaded an interval timer for my workouts, custom alarm clock, book reader and notebook/diary. I also use the Docs To Go app for my online college course's and the Adobe reader app to download an read chapters for my classes. Last of all, as a medic I also have an app for prescription drug references and an anatomy book that I refer quite often. Before I bought my Blackberry Playbook I saw it as a luxury purchase and almost didn't buy it. When they went on sale for the same price any memory size I ordered the 64 gb. Now the Playbook never leaves my side and has been an absolute necessity. With the exception of Skype, it has all but replaced my laptop during this deployment. Kudos Blackberry, don't stop there, keep up the good work!!!
I purchased the Otterbox case thinking of protection and that I would mainly use the Playbook for media. Now I'm thinking that I really need to buy a case with a keyboard, this would making completing the assignments for my classes that much easier!

I just made the leap to tablets and picked up a 64gb on the cheap. Can't wait for it to arrive, but I could use suggestions as to what should be my accessory of choice for this. Two girls (5&2) who'll be trying to steal this from me and I'll be using it this fall when I start teaching.
