BlackBerry Pearl 9100 Pricing Set At $79.99 For Rogers And Bell

It was suggested previously that we'd see the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 roll in at around $49.99 w/ contract on Rogers and Bell. Turns out that price may have been a little lower then reality. As the above snapshot shows, Bell and Rogers have their pricing set at $79.99 for the new Pearl with new contracts.

As we have now seen the pics of the dummy device roll in and the launch announcement expected to happen at WES, it gives more weight to the May 6th launch date that we have been hearing. TELUS pricing has yet to be revealed but given carriers rarely stray from each others pricing it should be on par with that of Rogers and Bell, maybe less if they want to push their pink version out the door.

These screenshots are taken from Best Buy and Future Shop's inventory system...and sometimes the pricing does change before the launch depending on the direction of the carrier (in this case Bell and Rogers).

I don't think there's been any news yet on UK launch dates. I would imagine that this would be free on some very modest (£20/month) tariffs though, and would be a welcome addition to RIM's UK lineup.

That just means that in Best Buy or Future Shop's POS system you can adjust the price - but that screenshot shows the listing for the SKU for the tag for the phone - which is confusing if you don't work for the company...that's not the actual inventory listing for the phone itself.
