It was only yesterday that we reported that the mighty BlackBerry Passport had officially launched in Hong Kong. The word on the street is that the BlackBerry flagship has now also been announced in Hanoi, Vietnam.
It's looking like consumers will have a couple of weeks to wait as it's reported to be October 24th that the handset will be available from carrier partners. As yet we don't have a list of those but we will update you as we get more information.
Delving into the CrackBerry forums I discovered that someone had kindly posted the prices - 15.500.000 VND, 730US$ or 577EUR
Managing Director of the Indochina region at BlackBerry, Ben Quirin, said:
We are excited to bring the first square screen design and touch-enabled keyboard smartphone – the BlackBerry Passport – to Vietnam. The BlackBerry Passport is aimed at mobile professionals and will allow users to elevate their productivity and collaborate more effectively.
Are you in Vietnam and itching to get your hands on the Passport? Let us know.
