If you live in or are visiting New York and want to try out a brand new BlackBerry smartphone, you now have the chance to do so at one of BlackBerry's own shops. Seemingly out of nowhere, BlackBerry has now opened up a new pop-up store in New York.
You can find us in Brookfield Place, one of New York's largest office complexes and shopping centers. Located just across the street from the new World Trade Center Site in Battery Park, Brookfield hosts some of the finest shops, restaurants, and amenities New York has to offer. It's a central location in the city – and hence, the perfect place for us to set up shop.
Our kiosk will stock the Priv, Passport, Passport Silver Edition, Classic, and Leap, all unlocked. The phones will all be priced the same as on ShopBlackBerry, with one notable exception: every smartphone purchase comes bundled with a free case and sync pod. If you're in the area, you've therefore every reason to stop by and check us out.
Our address is 10281, 230 Vesey Street. Store hours are 9am-8pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-6pm on Sunday. We'll see you there!
Needless to say, this is an interesting move for BlackBerry, though, it's not unheard of either. Back in September of 2015, they opened up a 1700 square foot pop-up store in the MyZeil shopping mall in the center of Frankfurt where customers could purchase devices and accessories, meet with BlackBerry experts and chill out in the lounge area. Anyone in New York going to swing by and take a look? If so, send us some pics!
