Things must certainly be on the up in terms of BlackBerry sales in the Middle East as on June 20th the first BlackBerry Retail Concept Store will open its doors in Dubai.

Located on level two of the Dubai Mall, conveniently close to the Dubai Metro Link, the BlackBerry store will provide UAE residents and visitors a chance to experience the latest models through live demo’s, as well as to pre-register for upcoming smartphones.

The new store will also ensure local users are taking full advantage of their devices thanks to the in-store maintenance and repair service hub offering free software upgrades, data back-up and transfer solutions, product set-up, service collection and warranty verification, as well as the first one-hour repair or replace service in the Middle East.

Having a store like this will certainly help customers on legacy devices make a simple transition over to BlackBerry 10. I can't help but think we need one of these in the UK - London to be more specific. Would you like to see BlackBerry roll out further retail stores in your part of the world?
