Back when RIM took the covers off their BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.1 developer beta, they noted some more of the developer tools would be updated shortly and now, the BlackBerry Native SDK 2.1 beta has gone live for developers. In addition that, if you're more of a WebWorks developer or are making use of the Ripple Emulator, both of those betas have also gotten updates to add some improvements to the mix. Developers, you know what to do! Go make some great apps for BlackBerry 10. ;)

Will Cascades be part of 3.0 for NDK?

The Cascades for BB10 NDK is released. It'll merge with the PlayBook one, once the PlayBook gets BB10

whats the difference between this beta and the other one recently released? any advantage for a non development user?

Does it make sense for RIM to work on both Tablet OS 2.x and BB10? Recent forum comments on OS 2.1 beta suggest that it's more like an alpha release. IMO this is a waste of resources, they should focus on BB10 and release it for the PB as soon as possible.
