Is there a reason why Blackberry messenger not showing up on the list.

I was just gonna ask that same question. I just joined to try out this new bbm and its not in the list? I have a bold 9650 and listed my slef with that device when I signed up... I wonder if its only for certain devices.

I cant see the new bb messenger on my screen either? does that mean I am not eligible for it? I have the 9700

I've been a Beta Zone member for like 6 months and it doesn't show up for me either. I was kinda confused also. I thought it was just me

it hasnt been listed for sometime now, i been trying to get it since last weeka nd its not on the list of available programs

Glad I'm not the only one who isn't seeing it. I was wondering about that after the blackberry shield, or whatever they call it, came out in beta zone. Are they selective as to who they offer these thigs too? If so seems somewhat lame to me as the more feedback you get the better the product can be when finally offered up to the public.

You have to go on the Beta Website and click on Blackberry Messenger 5.0 then once you go to it you will see it states the new version...so I'm downloading now!! Hopefully its good.

Sorry guys, I had a question, I download the BBm5.0.1.17, and I got a keycode.
And now I download 5.0.1.32 .
May I use the same keycode from 5.0.1.17 or I need Waiting a new one?

go to Blackberry Beta Zone and sign in what do you need a link...go to the Blackberry Messenger download and redownload.

I had the prev beta so I just clicked on it go to download and it was the new ver.

BBM is a limited beta program so not everyone will have access to it :(

Even if you got a link it wouldn't work for you! The download requires a keycode, specific to your device & PIN. I know patience is fleeting here, but hang tight & hopefully the BB gods bestow the new BBM beta upon you all...

For anyone who is already testing RIM beta apps through RIM Beta Zone, your keycode remains the same for each application, so long as you continue to use the same device. I recently had to witch devices & had to have new keycodes emailed to me (took about a week!)

Logged in and it's not there. What sucks is there isn't even a search function on that page.

I have it, just use your brain and you'll find it. It is there. CLUE it is not in the screen after you login and see My Programs Eligible Programs etc.

If your a member of Beta Zone, you will find it under my programs. If it isn't there RIM haven't invited you YET!

Yes they stagger the invites and NO it doesn't matter who you are. There are some influential people in the BB world still don't have Facebook.

NO it can't be shared, its keycoded and PIN locked, yes FB had a work around but that works differently to BBM

In this vercion they fix a lot of bugs and its more faster for those who can't downloaded you have to log in in you beta zone profile and go to programs and it say blackberry messenger and download like the firts time and when. It download put your old activation code

I downloaded it today and while it has some nice new features (especially when sharing pics with other BBM conacts), My Group convos must load every time I click on the conversation. I get Please Wait Loading Chat EVERY stinkin time.

Slightly annoying.

OMG FOR THE LAST TIME...if you go to Blackberry Beta Zone then Click on Blackberry 5.0 and go to Download. If you are eligible it will say the .35 version instead of 5.0. Just dl it like you did the 5.0 and it will prompt you to replace it!!

I dont understand why people are being so secretive if you know then help ... obviously some us cant view it theres no point in getting pissed off if it was that fucking visible to some of us do you really think we would be asking for assistance .... damn .. its not that serious

not sure if any one else is having this problem but I have no problem signing into beta zone on the computer but when I do it on the phone it keeps telling me its the wrong user name and password- rebooting now to see if that helps

I really wonder if RIM should be weeding out some of the trash that seems to be in their Beta test program. Seems to me by their comments and failure to find the app to test would rule them ineligible. I'm just a voice in the wilderness, so who cares.

For those asking for the link, you can't get it unless you're a registered beta zone member and have accepted the BBM beta program, and for those that give out the link, you'll be booted by RIM. Is having your priviledge revoked worth it?

If you are a member of the beta testers and you didn't get the invitation email just go to the list of programs yu testing and select messenger then download it.

This is getting me so frustrated. I log into my beta account on the computer without an issue. When I try with my phone I keep getting an err or message. I have rebooted phone and still can't do it. Any thoughts?

Connect the phone to the pc with the usb data cable, click on the download link(make sure yu using internet explorer) and load BBM from your pc. Its a really simple task. Can't see the reason for all the hassle. Come on guys!!! You can also get help in the beta forums.

For those having issues... Try the beta testing forums on the blackberry beta site. Posting here is a breach of your confidentiality agreement... There is a lot of help to be had there. I really don't want them to start nuking our beta privileges again because of leaked info again...

Just downloaded thru beta zone under my programs,put the code and ready to go and it was much faster.

LOL, I installed it, but its majorly screwed up..

That some things should only be said in the beta zone forum itself. Login problems would be ok to ask here but problems or questions about any particular build should be posted where the devs will see it.

Just downloaded and used previous key code that was sent to me over a month ago. Currently I don't discover anything new but I'm searching.

I registered in the beta zone JUST to try the new BBM, I've been registered for a few months now, and every time I hear a report "BBM is in the beta zone for all you beta members", it's never there for me. I have not seen it once.

I installed this update out of Beta Zone and it doesn't look like there have been that many changes over 5.0.1.17. I ran through the UI and options only briefly, and I can't even be certain that the changes I noticed weren't there in the previous version. That said, it looks like they added the option to show your contacts music updates or not, and whether or not to share your "Location/Timezone" in the same way you previous showed what music you were listening to.

I haven't yet played around with any multimedia related BBM functions.

Really enjoyed 5.0.1.17 but since I started using 5.0.1.32 I like the interface a little bit more and it's quick too. Haven't had any issues or problems yet. So all is good right now!

5.0.1.32 got rid of all the dead space in the chat bubbles which was my major gripe... Still looking for more changes.

I liked the previous beta version, .17 I didn't experience any bugs so lets see what RIM has for us in this new version.

I tried to sign up for the Beta Zone and it kept saying something about password being 8 characters...But I changed it several times over. Any suggestions on how to sign up for it??? I Appreciate it...

In My Programs it says "You are not a participant in a current program.

Please Update Your Profile for us to find the program for you!"

Does this mean in order to download any program i would have to fill out the survey?

This finally showed up under my eligible programs but when I went to download it, it gave me some bs about having enough participants. epic fail.
