If you're not already running this version of BlackBerry Maps, which was included with the BlackBerry 10.2.0.1323 leak, then you should be able to open up BlackBerry World and find v10.1.0.805 readily available for download. It seems this release is a small but important one as the change log notes it is for stability and performance improvements as well as covering some bugs when the app is upgraded.
Sounds to me like fixes in preparation for further OS updates but that's just a wild guess more than anything else. Thus far, some folks seem to be having some issues with the app crashing on launch but in any case, the update is live so grab it if you don't want to hold off and see if another update is sent out. If you've already updated, let us know in the comments how it all worked out for you.

A short while back we ran a poll asking if BlackBerry users would like to see HERE Drive+ come to BlackBerry 10. The voice guided navigation software which is available for Windows Phones does a great job in comparison to BlackBerry Maps. They both get the job done but HERE Now+ offers more and from experience it's a little more precise when finding a location by road and house number...
