BlackBerry makes its debut in Brunei

BlackBerry lovers in Brunei rejoice as today marks a special day as DST and RIM launch the first ever BlackBerry Solution in the country. The launch was took place at the Empire Hotel and Country Club in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah binti Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 will be the first device available from the carrier and can be picked up from today. From today (December 3) until December 5th there will be a DST carnival held at the BRIDEX International Conference Centre in Jerudong, where customers can get more information. There are no pricing details yet though the DST website states that the pricing scheme will be based a "Market Price Average".
