BlackBerry holiday themes now supported in more regions

Remember those BlackBerry exclusive holiday themes we posted about a few days ago? The biggest complaint seemed to be that (for some reason) they were only supported in the US & Canada. We'll now the availability has been extended to more regions so you if you couldn't get your hands on them before, maybe now you can. I'm still not sure on some of the choices region-wise and why they aren't available worldwide, but it is what it is. They really are pretty sweet themes for the holidays. Head over to BlackBerry App World from the links below to see if your country is now supported.

i tried to download on a buddies 9700 running latest leak of OS6 and when going under themes to change it... it only lists the original Bell on that came with the phone. anyone else had this issue? i figured its because of os6 but i see some have installed on their Torch and its os6. any ideas folks?

phinx: until there's a theme builder for the 6.0 OS then you won't be able to run them on your 9700. i can't on my 9650 running a leak either.. sucks, huh?

I don't wear clothes with blatant and obvious logos - having just blown a whack of cash of the privilege - and, given the cost I'm ending up paying for the use of my Blackberry, I think I'll pass on a Theme that imposes the RIM logo throughout.

Do I look like a billboard? And, if I do, let's talk paying for use.

Actually, If you really think, The "D/B" shaped logo which is seen on the wallpaper is not per se a "logo" just an element of which when combined to the proper portions can be used to create one, and to be fair, the logo is rather prominently displayed on both the front and back of your device, and the word "BlackBerry" is likely found in the signature of emails sent out from your device (provided your a BIS user.)

While your not a billboard, and you certainly don't get paid, like it or not, you display logos from companies on the mobile you use, the emails you send, the car you drive and the beverages you drink.

And if it really pisses you off so much to see the "D/B" shape on the theme, just don't use it, or change the background wallpaper to something festive of your own.

I installed the blue theme on my 9800 and it is sweet! It completes my phone :)
I tried to install them on my friends 9780 and they don't show up on the themes list in app world, hopefully the theme will get updated for them. From reading the comments it looks like it's not available on os6 devices other than the 9800

I like the theme but it only show five icons on the home screen compared to six icons on the home screen I have with default 9700 theme. Is there anyway we can make it in to six icons? If not, I am going to stick with what I have now. I am so used to six main icons, I need them all to be productive.

If anyone know a crack or an edit that allow me to use this theme and till have six icons, please send me a reply.

@Bazza1 so true. some brands go to extremes with the corporate branding. my blackberry's logo are hidden by silicone skin and mirror screen on the front, subconsciously i guess lol

Downloaded and tried all 3, red and green are OK, but the blue is the BEST personally. Glad BlackBerry finally supports more countries,shouldnt have been exclusive to US and Canada in the first place though.
