Research In Motion has made generally available BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 Service Pack 1. Most corporate environments running BES 5.0 have most likely already got Service Pack 1 installed already for their users. But just in case you were holding off, you can now head to the Research In Motion download site and grab your copy for IBM Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange. As always, Research In Motion has updated their knowledge base articles to reflect all the new changes and features as well.

Does anyone know if SP1 is cumulative with the maintenance releases or do we have to install the maintenance releases first?
And I guess you need a RIM customer service contract to install that SP????
@SP1
Install SP1, it includes all MR which were published so far1
@Contract
Download and install, to RIM custumer service required. You should be familiar with BES.
I have a free BES 4.1 SRP license for my personal use at home (don't ask). It's too bad RIM decided to remove the 1 free license and go to a 20-30 day trial instead. It's really awesome having access to enterprise features, at home =)
Crossing my fingers to see if they'll upgrade me.
